I watched Rhyker standing behind the counter and flipped the scrambled eggs with his pan, he was shirtless and wore a white apron with black joggers. He had one particular tattoo on the back of his neck, it's a drawing of a crown, the crown of Rosla. He whistled while making scrambled eggs. "Are you awake Hemilia? I'm sorry I wasn't in our bed, I wanted to make breakfast for you." He said not looking at me, I gawked at his strong and broad back that is able to give comforting hugs from him. "What's the special occasion?" I chuckled and walked toward him, he turned around and smiled.

Like I was hypnotized. Suddenly, the door slammed, snapping me out of my zombie zone. "I am so sorry, didn't mean to startle you". Xavier muttered, staring at me with his cute hazel eyes. Something in his eyes made me feel safe and I smiled at him. "It's okay, babe". I am just tired and all... He cups my face and gives me a quick peck. "We will soon get home, princess". Then he fixed his seat belt and sped off. I never told him what I saw.

I heard Lycan King Xyrus say and eight other pairs of eyes stared at me. He wasn't alone, like I thought; both Vance and Lady Eliona are here. I walked slowly towards them, my eyes drank in the appearance of Xyrus. Among everyone present, he seemed more excited to see me. “Oh my goddess. You look so beautiful even at night lady Valeria.” Lady Eliona said and I realised why Xyrus picked this dress. I now know why he called me here only to have me sit in the space next to me. He is trying to pass a message to Vance that I, Valeria, belong to him.
