"I would love a cup of tea, I can eat and drink what you do, but it does nothing for the energy, we, as vampires, need blood to survive, I nodded, we walked towards the kitchen, on the way Damon saw a picture of my parents and I at the park two years ago, we were smiling, we were happy, "Are these your parents?" Damon asked, picking up the picture "My mortal parents, yes"

Inside were photos that could make anyone lurch whatever they had for lunch. Thankfully, she didn't eat anything before coming here. The photos were all bloody. Shots of corpses belonging to humans, vampires and werewolves. They were mangled and bloody, their bodies looked so awful that they didn't even match what they used to look like before they died. It made her frown in disgust. She looked at the humans who laid on the tiled floor in the picture, blood was all over their bodies and they had missing limbs. However, she didn't see any reason why she should concern herself with what happened to strangers.

I could not bear to lay my eyes on a vampire without ripping his/her head off, I simply despised them. I ignored my friends and continued to stare at the picture of my innocent mate in my hands. I used my fingers to trace her beautiful face and then i sighed and turned to face them. "What ever you guys say or do won't change anything and it doesn't even matter to me. I asked, squatting down to survey the few CDs I own. "A movie? You want to watch a movie right now?" I turn around to find Celestine with a confused look on her face. "Yeah. I have all the seasons of the vampire diaries series in CD form." I shuffle through the CDs I have until I come across season one of the vampire diaries. I bring it out and show it to Celestine. "You're in?"

Yeah, man. I’ve seen a whole fucking lot of them.” My blood turned to ice. “What?” “In Vampire Diaries,” he said, completely oblivious to the mini heart attack he’d just given me. “Damon Salvatore? Stefan? You seriously need to watch better TV, dude. That show’s fucking gold.”

Behind the heavy doors of his study, Valen was seated at his desk, his focus unwavering on the documents before him.
