The hot water from the shower always felt welcoming and soothing. Then she felt it again. This time, the power was different and like a vibration. Her whole body glowed

"And now you'd like me to help you." He chuckled. "I've never enjoyed disappointing people more." Jonas spoke for the first time. "You won't leave this room until we have answers." The vampire turned toward him. "You believe that." "I do." "So did the last people who captured me." Jonas narrowed his eyes. "Where?" The vampire simply smiled again. Aldren quietly raised one hand, stopping further threats before they began. "We're not interested in games." "We're interested in understanding why five vampires were hunting another vampire."

SARAH'S POV I sat there in the cold dark alley for quite a while and not even a rat passed by, I was starting to get scared when I heard faint laughter, more like a chuckle from afar. The sound became louder and clearer. It was no longer just the sound of laughter, I could now hear footsteps approaching. Aurelius roared as cracks of dark red veins appeared under his eyes and his bright blue eyes got covered by blood. “Where is Hadrian?” Elijah almost stepped backward. “I took care of him. He wouldn't be able to use his powers for a while.” Diana simpered as she stepped toward Aurelius. Within a second, Aurelius sped toward them, snapping their necks one after the other even before they could defend themselves. Diana gave a side smile. His strength and speed showed that he was indeed the oldest vampire alive. Diana opened a portal and they stepped into it and vanished into thin air.
