“What do you mean?” “A vampire can’t go against the one who sired them. At least, that’s the theory.” Morgan nodded. “Correct. I wouldn’t be able to attack Oran.” “Can Auri?” Hector asked him and looked between my grandpa and my mother. “Why would she not? She’s not a vampire.” Týr was looking between them as well. Zeke sighed. “She is though, isn’t she? The lack of scars, time seemingly rewinding, and the special juice for everything this morning. You and Hector are both part vampire now as well, aren’t you?”

(Zyandra's POV) The night smelled like iron and smoke. Every full moon did. I stood in the clearing, watching the silver light slip between the trees, heavy and ancient. The pack surrounded me, silent and waiting. They wanted this done. I didn’t. The marking ceremony — the moment an Alpha met their destined Luna — was supposed to be sacred. Romantic, even. But I’d never believed in that kind of fate. Love chosen by the Moon Goddess wasn’t love; it was control dressed in prophecy.

She pouted then trudged out of the room. Nadia widened her eyes as the man came closer to her. He lifted his own wrist to his mouth and chomped down. The sound of breaking skin sent a cringing shiver down her spine. Blood pooled from the prick and Damon offered her his wrist. Nadia instantly shook her head. “You’re delusional.” She retorted. Damon furrowed his brows. “Vampire blood heals little wolf.” He urged his wrist forward for her to take. “I’m not drinking that.” She pursed her lips.

I folded my hands across my chest and frowned at him in both confusion and annoyance. "Stop-just-" Alex huffed in frustration before covering his face with his hands and letting out a sigh in exasperation. I was about to say something else too but stopped when I heard a few girls groan and my eyes snapped towards the crowd. I noticed Joey, Franklin, danny and other vampires digging their fangs into the girls neck, sucking them hungrily and I could feel my eyes widening at the sight. They were doing it in public? Why? It was already getting dark, we were supposed to go home.

The man was silent, pondering over the information given to him. Rogues were a rare case. They were always said to be rebellious, and in some cases, dangerous. Apparently, I was a great exception, but he didn't need to know that. Usually that fact was what made vampires that had any interest in my change their mind. "Blood type?" he questioned. My eyes went wide again. He's still interested? My nerves knotted tighter in my stomach. "B-negative." A rarity among blood, so I'd been told. "And, lucky for her, she's never been bitten." he finished, crossing his arms.

“Don’t you know it is dangerous to have a fated mate, your Luna for goodness sake, unmarked when there are unmated males around?” “Mother, calm down. There’s no need to be so dramatic, do you?” I want to mark Viviane under the full moon during the Midsummer festivities. That way our pledge to each other will be sealed by the goddess Selene’s blessing.” “Did you know she had a wolf?” “I can turn her into a full she-wolf once she drinks my blood and my bite will carry my serum in her bloodstream accelerating the transformation”. “I sensed something special in Viviane the moment I recognized her.”

Diego agreed with his niece. " If you're going to attack the Vampires you must make it during the day." Everyone is surprised when Zeinah join in the conversation. "What makes you say that Zeinah?" Alexandra inquire she is still suspicious of her half-sister. "They are weak during the day." She commented "Are you forgetting that they can get out walking during the day." Alexandra discounted Zeinah's information. "Some of them who are stronger like you. and some who was able to get access to the potion that the witches has produced." Zeinah corrected her.

"That's impossible." The look on his face was so earnest that I found it hard not to believe that he was making any of this up. "The entire week after, for as long as I had your blood in my system, I was unable to walk into daylight. Silver hurt me, and I had the ability of coercion." I was shocked at his statement until I thought about it for a moment longer. My blood was used to enhance the properties of a vampire, the pureblood of the half. It made purebloods stronger and helped their system heal them faster.

Thirteen was when vampires got access to the abilities and gifts if they had one, just like how we got our wolves. Zion, being a Precoza by birth, gained access to his on his ninth birthday. He was still getting the hang of them, but he was excited. He had the same Precoza abilities that Imeela had. He was also able to cast and could emit electricity from his body. Hecate had made an appearance when Zion was born and blessed him, stating that he would have an important destiny and would hold great power inside of himself. “I promise,” he whispered back to me, eyes twinkling with mirth. “Dad, I’m curious about something. Did it ever bother you that Mom wasn’t a shifter?”

The flickering candlelight danced across her face, casting elongated shadows that seemed to mirror the thoughts swirling in her mind. Her thoughts drifted to Zoe, the young woman whose presence had ignited a spark of recognition within her. Esmaralda had sensed the powerful aura that emanated from Zoe the moment she had set foot in her presence. It was a familiar energy, one that resonated with her own ancient bloodline of vampires.
