He tried to run, but managed only one step in the direction of the stairs before falling to his knees, clutching his head, screaming. Aster cocked her head at him, a cold expression on her face, an almost serene smile on her lips. Whimpering softly, the vampire fell over, crumbling into a pathetic little ball. “It’s a shame you won’t live to tell the tale, because I would have send you away with a message--”Aster knelt next to him, “--this is what happens when you touch the ones I love.” She blinked. He didn’t so much explode as disintegrate, and a red mist of blood that was once Armand rained down on them.

Carissa waited for a few more minutes, waiting for that bossy commander to go back to his camps before she made her move. She climbed down as silent as the night as she focused her senses on her surroundings. She heard two pairs of footsteps on her left and one on her right. Smiling, her eyes flashed with an eerie excitement. Time to hunt some souls! She moved towards her right and watched as the vampire scanned his surroundings with his back to her. Carissa moved from the trees by stepping on the branch. At the same time, the rain pours down adding a glee to Carissa’s excitement. She flicked her fingers and watched as the vampire touched his neck before he fell.

She tried to get her neck free from Ethan’s grip with her both hands but his grip got stronger. Alice almost choked to death. In the sky, the cloud started moving a bit faster now letting some moonlight reach the earth. As the moonlight fell on Ethan his grip got weaker and finally, Alice got herself free from Ethan and fell on the ground a few steps away from Ethan. She coughed terribly. She saw Ethan and was shocked to see his fangs. Ethan has turned into his vampire form.

Now, a mere werewolf had taken her place in his heart. As Vanessa paced her room, her thoughts raced. She gazed at an ornate mirror, where her reflection, a stunning vampire with long ebony hair and piercing red eyes, stared back at her. She whispered to her own image, her voice seething with bitterness, "Mara, you will not take what's rightfully mine. I will ensure that you meet your doom."

My skin was practically translucent now, my veins branching out like black spiderwebs. Images began to surface in the mirror. The mirror showed a battle on the clan borders, two years past. As the clan's top assassin, Cassian had infiltrated the Fallen's lair alone. But it was an ambush. In the vision, he was covered in blood. A Fallen’s claws had torn open his throat, severing the carotid artery. Black venom was creeping into his veins. It was Fallen necro-venom. Left untreated, the victim would devolve into a mindless Ghoul within three days.

I took the opportunity to set the sheets and blankets that fell off of her during that whole thing over Khloe. Being right next to a vampire wasn't exactly the warmest place a human could be, and I didn't really want her to get uncomfortable. She didn't even flinch when I placed my hand back onto her. No other words were spoken that night. She didn't apologize for anything or beg me not to do something. She just laid there, shamelessly letting her emotions out until she eventually fell asleep

He fell down to the floor, groaning in pain. The Vampire girl has been hiding behind the door and waiting for the right time to attack him. So that when she gets him to crash on the ground, she would then run for her life. But then, her jaw dropped the moment that she recognized that he was one of the Grand Elders of the Volturi. She hastily lowered herself to the floor in fear to help him get back to his feet before what she least expected happened. Rufus grabbed her so that her full body was close to his reach. He wrapped his hand around her back and his sharp claws elongated, piercing deeply into her skin. She moaned in pain as she felt a sharp pain in her neck region.

Then, turning towards a fallen Hailey, I asked, "Is this some of your new tricks to separate me and Daniel? Because trust me they aren't working." "Don't trust me then. Except there was no blood dripping from his mouth as always described in books. Yet, she was still scared senseless at the sight of a living, vampire right in front of her eyes. He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.
