Vampires Blood Scent Novels & Stories

I let out a loud rumble from my chest. I tossed my hands up in the air, Almost in a complete surrender “Sorry to disappoint you angry kitty but I don’t snack on kids, not my cup of tea” – it’s widely known around the vampire communities that young females around her age -their blood hasn’t matured enough to have a scent of its own, if a vampire partakes in a drink from something so young no doubt their blood would taste like weak sugar at first bite and not very satisfying at all and frankly, it’s kind of bothersome. That’s why the sweat from her pores gives a hint to the vampire if the blood is weak or not, in this case, it’s very weak. she would have to wait another year to become someone

Finally, I handed him exactly what he wanted and left. The nasty stench of werewolf hung in the air as I crossed the pack's borders. A vampire could easily tell claimed lands from unclaimed ones. Werewolves had a pungent wet dog smell constantly following them. The half-blood had a scent barely tainted by her beast. My throat ached at the mere thought of her sweet blood — only, it was the equivalent of drinking a pint of pure lemon juice.

And a lot of it. It doesn’t hide the light swelling around her left eye, though. Taking another step forward, I discreetly sniff her, and my eyes sharpen. It’s that same scent, the icy one with the odd hint of sweetness. Vampires all carry that same icy scent, which is what makes it so hard to distinguish them by scent alone. But this one, she has a trace of sweetness under that icy scent of hers. The realization follows almost instantly: she is the vampire who saved me!

"I smelt his scent... his Burning wood scent gives your werewolf scent a roasted hazelnut coffee smell and makes your vampire scent a dry froze midnight orchid smell.." I explain and he narrows his eyes indicating I needed to explain more than that, I groan at him giving him a summarised version.

The foul stench of rotten blood wafted from his mouth, almost causing me to retch. Realizing that time was running out, I knew I had to act swiftly, or I would become their next meal. Another vampire examined me, scrutinizing my figure on the ground. He grabbed my wrist, sniffing it deeply. "Hmmm... You're right, Durcam. She does smell delicious. But her blood has a peculiar scent, wouldn't you agree?" Then the four stinky vampires proceeded to sniff my body like perverts, I swallowed the bile in my throat and my vision rapidly blurred with tears as I resisted the urge to throw up every content of my stomach.

If I was going to eventually find a way to turn all of them, I would need them on my side. “Okay, we have to plan this carefully. Everyone go home. We will have the funeral tomorrow and after that, we will plan our next step.” My people dispersed and I took a deep breath. Walking into my room, I looked at the stain that had formed on the floor and made a mental note to get the cleaners to fix it in the morning. The moment her life left her flashed through my mind and I closed my eyes. The scent of her blood was different from the body I smelled in the alleyway. The body’s blood was almost sweet whereas hers was sour. So that was how the vampires knew we were werewolves! They smelled it in ou

I sniff the air at the new infant’s scent, and my own eyes fly wide. “Is that… How is that possible?” I ask, shocked to be smelling what I smell. Vampires all have a similar scent, a sweet, almost honey smell. One I like to think is similar to that of a flower trying to lure in the bees. But this baby, however, smells of both wolf and vampire. –A hybrid?-- Laney asks through the mind link.

I almost vomit with the return of that scene in my mind’s eye, my body shuddering in revulsion and pain as my broken heart rips at old scars and tears well up in my eyes. Wolf blood smells different to most other things in nature, and dead wolf is the most unique of all. It’s like the second our life essence drains it leaves the red fluid rancid and potent so no animals will come and try to feast on remains. It’s the smell of death, of repulsion and awful things, from the night of the courtyard when vampires almost killed me.

I kept running to try to catch a whiff of his scent. I can still smell that vampire's scent. Vampires all smell like death, but his smell was very different from that of other vampires. And I will always remember it. I was too far into the woods, but I couldn't find him or smell him, so I thought it might have been my imagination.

I could feel it heat, tremble beneath my skin as her scent pulled me forward—dragged me like a tether into the woods behind the house. And then I saw it. My mate—*my mate*—being chased. A bear. A furious, wild-looking thing with eyes that burned with rage. Fear gripped me, sharp and punishing, when I caught the scent of her blood. It was heavy. Thick. Overwhelming. It clogged the air, soaked into everything around me. I could *feel* it. And I knew—every vampire even remotely near would’ve sensed it too. Gods, it was so enticing.
