Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Sam had kept waiting for an opportunity to take her aside, but none seemed to present itself. It was a rowdy and bustling crowd of hundreds of vampires and human warriors, and as the drinking and feasting went on, the merriment turned into an outright dancing party. More musicians came, the music grew louder, the drink stronger, and people paired up, dancing in old-fashioned ways, locking arms and spinning in one circle, then locking arms and spinning in another. Men grabbed each other by the shoulder, forming circles, spinning round and round, and women grabbed women. Then they all switched off, and men and women danced with each other. There were smaller circles and bigger circles, couples

The Awakening of a Blue Rose

The Awakening of a Blue Rose

He gave the other bachelor a respectful bow before he exited the crowd. Seraph stood, gently tugging Esper closer to him. He placed his hand on the small of her back and leading her through a Vietnamese waltz. He was a much more confident dancer, dipping and twirling Esper and not once stepping on her feet. The crowd opened up for them, onlookers enamored with the grace of their dance. As the song ended, the crowd erupted in applause for the couple. Esper's face tinged with light pink as the two vampires bowed to the audience.

Payment To the Alpha

Payment To the Alpha

The only one who stood out was Jasper but I had dismissed any thoughts I had originally had. We walked up to the packhouse, it was completely dark by now but the moon laminated the sky and shone down on the ground in glowing strides and the solar lamps embedded in the grass were lighting up pathways around the packhouse. As we neared I could begin to hear the bass from the music blaring against the walls and when we opened the doors I and Amber stood in shock as we saw all the pack members dancing and jumping around together. The vampires we had visiting us were there too, I could make out Caroline-Ravens friend- and the goofy one named Lucas. But Raven and Fredric weren't there.

Vampiric Heart

Vampiric Heart

Seeing him with a sadistic smile as he licked the blood off his lips. But all in all, I am ejoying the meals that the chef is serving and I got to meet new people too. I ate a lot of variety dishes. They were delicious even though I spent it with Mr Vamps whom I am to confirm. I might be wrong after all I have not seen him in the wrong. Only his pale skin nothing else. Those dreams may be wrong or true. I have been avoiding him since the party and when we engage in a conversation, it is him asking and me replying to his questions facing on the floor afraid to meet his eyes.

A dance with the villian

A dance with the villian

Lila's pov “This is Caleb A.K.A black vortex” Damon said, nodding toward the figure in the corner. “He works with me as my side kick” Immediately, I heard the name "Black Vortex," and my breath hitched. The name wasn’t just familiar; it was infamous. Black Vortex was a shadow in the underground world, a digital phantom who could infiltrate the most secure systems without leaving a trace. He also had the ability to manipulate shadows, bending them to his will, creating illusions that could disorient or terrify his enemies. This power made him a master of stealth, able to move unseen and strike from the darkness.

The Dance of Vengeance

The Dance of Vengeance

"I’m Victoria Dean. I apologize for meeting you all under these circumstances. “But as a dancer, I want to show you that the most powerful performances don’t need elaborate embellishments. This dance has a real name. It’s called, the Unyielding Rose in the Rain.” I slipped off my coat, revealing a tattered red gown beneath it, and the white bandage wrapped around my ankle. "A rose blooming in the rain, who could ever bend its beauty?" Rising onto the tips of my toes, I leaped into the rain, the night sky embracing me like a vast, open stage.

What exactly did I do wrong? I noticed the vampires in the room moving towards a door behind the dancing stage as king Damien stood up. “I’ll be right back, this is really important” he said and walked towards the room. .. .. I wonder what they’re going to do inside, maybe it’s sucking of blood. I walked round the room as several human slaves danced and did other things for fun. “Hi, you must be Alexa” a lady asked as I nodded and looked around. I didn’t even know the time we got home, all I know Is that this place was secluded.

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

A Second Chance: My Twin Mates

I was just a girl on the dance floor, moving to the beat with my best friend. But freedom never lasts long. Not for me. It never has. I felt them before I saw them. A ripple of unease passed through the crowd, a sudden space clearing around Daisy and me as though everyone instinctively knew better. Then they appeared: two men sliding through the dancers like shadows given form. Vampires. Damn! They were beautiful in that deadly, unnatural way their kind always was; tall, sharp-boned and as pale as moonlight. Their eyes glowed faintly red, and when the strobe lights hit them, I caught the gleam of fangs behind their smirks.

The Alpha King's Vampire Princess

The Alpha King's Vampire Princess

The shared territory had become a reality, and this celebration marked the beginning of a new era for our packs. The dance floor beckoned, and I extended my hand to Hera. As we stepped onto the floor, the music began—a harmonious blend of werewolf and vampire melodies. The dance embodied the unity we had strived for, each movement a testament to the strength of our love and the bonds that had been forged. Surrounding us, other werewolves and vampires joined in the dance, creating a mesmerizing tableau of unity. The rhythmic interplay of steps showcased the seamless integration of our cultures, and the joyous atmosphere radiated the shared vision for our packs.

Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

Loved even more the way people scrambled to get out of her way. The vampires danced as if afraid of their own sleeves—stiff-backed, too dignified, too correct. Every movement measured to the point of suffocation. Every step more tradition than joy, their bodies held so rigidly they might snap if they bent too far. The scent of their fear clung to the air like expensive perfume gone sour—all bergamot and bitter herbs. Very much like Nochten and its vampires to make even a dance something dull and restrained by decorum and order.
