I chuckled and she agreed. With that, I pulled her to the dance floor. Just like with the first dance, she refused to dance with anyone other than me. Luckily with the new Vampires, Humans, and Witches there were quite a few new dance partners to choose from and everyone seemed to have a great time.

I giggled, wrapping both my arms around his neck. The DJ changed the music into medieval dance music and it reminded me of my sister even more, when we were kids, we used to sneak out to watch dance class near the cabin we were living in the middle of the night. She had never been here, but I knew that during slow songs any Vampire dancing with their pet was sure to feed. Humans being fed on was not a pretty sight, usually. It was even less appealing to hear. Vampire bites were painful, and they couldn’t heal the skin except a small bit to heal the wound from bleeding.
