Sleep escaped me most of the night. As a vampire, I did not require much, so it was not completely uncommon. But it was not only due to the encounter I just had. My other issue was when I had attempted to close my eyes and drift off into a slumber, my dreams kept me awake. Apparently, the wolf even haunted me in my sleeping hours as well.

It takes me far less time than I originally thought it would, and by the time I'm done, it's almost 4 in the morning. I've now realized that because vampires don't need sleep, they don't function at normal hours. Thankfully, I'm more of a night person. And besides, I've slept all day.
