Veil of the Bloodmoon

Veil of the Bloodmoon

that Alwin uses black magic. It explains a lot of things, but I promise you we are not all bad people." She said, desperately, trying to make Seraphine understand. "Is the prophecy real?" "I have not lied to you, the prophecy has been passed down from generations to generations." "I believe you," Seraphine replied, making Soraya let out a breath of relief. Soraya looked like she had aged a few years within the past hours as the color of her hair contrasted with her skin even more. The two spoke for a while before finally retiring to sleep. Seraphine tossed and turned in her bed, unable to fall asleep. She kept thinking about her confrontation with Soraya. She had not been born when black ma

The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha

The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha

“I’d like to see you try.” Then the crystal was inches from my face. The coldness of it seeped into the air between us. My skin crawled, and my legs gave a violent tremble. I’d faced monsters, betrayal, war—but this was something else. This was violation. I closed my eyes, trying to pull up the Veil Sight, the power buried deep in my blood. But I couldn’t reach it. Not when I was incapacitated by the cuffs. Not without focus. Not here.

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

Blood Moon Rising - The Lumenwild Trials

Rayne Sharpwerewolf moon
“Everything all right?” “Just discussing your favorite subject,” Riven called from camp. “You.” Kyren’s eyes didn’t leave mine. “Stay close when we cross. The Veil plays tricks. It will use anything it can to even your thoughts.” “Like what?” I asked. He hesitated. “Like me.” When dusk fell, the Veil came alive. The sky turned the color of dying embers, and the air thickened with heat and whispers. We stood at the ravine’s edge, staring into the red mist that churned below.

A Veil of Ash and Glass

A Veil of Ash and Glass

Skin the color of water left too long in a bowl: thin, gray, stretched - Eyes black from lid to lid, glossy and hungry. Three more unpeeled themselves from the shadows behind it: one climbing down a trunk like a spider; one stepping backward out of a tree as if the bark were a curtain; one crouched low, fingers dug into the soil. “Stay,” she whispered to Umbra. He answered with a growl so low it felt like it rattled her ribs. The foremost creature tilted its head. “You called,” it said. “I didn’t,” she said. “Yessss…” another answered from her left, voice wet and amused. “Glasss and blood and windowssss… crying. You ssssang. We heard.”

Crowned In Vengeance

Crowned In Vengeance

"The Veil is a dangerous place. You'll need more than just your wits to overcome the pressure it would throw at you." She was about to start the process when I stopped her abruptly with my words, pulling her back. "What's it like? The Veil? What's it like?" I asked her, with a cracked voice, with a trace of fear evident in my tone. She paused for while, almost like she was thinking of her answers. She looked up eventually, gazing into my eyes as though she was staring into my spirit. "The veil takes so many forms, Rya. It's impossible to know what it would present itself to you as."

The Crimson Veil

The Crimson Veil

The candles went out. Author’s Note - The Crimson Veil began as a late-night idea about what might happen if logic met temptation in its purest, most dangerous form. Evelyn’s curiosity is my own: the need to understand what we fear, even when it leads us somewhere we can’t easily return from. This story mixes gothic atmosphere, mystery, and forbidden connection—a slow burn between intellect and instinct. Every chapter was written and refined by hand, inspired by old literature and the darker side of human emotion.

Alpha's Rejected Secret

Alpha's Rejected Secret

“You’re fading” He grabbed her wrist. “Don’t waste your energy on me. Just tell me how we end this.” Tears filled her eyes. “There’s only one way.” He stared at her. “No.” “You don’t even know what I’m going to say.” “I can see it in your face.” She looked away. “The Veil was made from sacrifice. Only one soul can close it. That’s the law it was built on.” “Then it’ll be me,” he said immediately.

Our little wife

Our little wife

She shook her head in denial. "N-N-No first close your eyes." she said to them to which the looked at each other. "C-C-Close na." she whined at them so they silently closed their eyes. She waved her hands in front of their eyes trying to check that the were peeking or not but they weren't. Vanessa turned around on the bed that her back was facing them. She immediately removed her dupatta(veil) from her head and taking her hands back slowly unzipped her blouse. She slightly slide the sleeve down from her left shoulder and then spoke excitedly.

The Veil Of Time

The Veil Of Time

She had a bruise on her arm and made cute noises with her nose as she slept. I felt like I was in a trance and had not seen her face. She whimpered and shivered a bit, and I was moved. Then I inched closer to her slowly as though moving too fast would make her disappear. I gently brushed the hair from her face and then gasped in shock. Her breathtaking face was covered in bruises. There was a fresh palm mark on her cheek and an angry black and purple mark on her visible eye. Her face was scrunched up a bit in pain.
