The manor was white with big floor to ceiling glass windows, it looked celestial under the moonlight. I have been in WillowRidge for my whole life, but I never knew about this manor, no one could see this from the road, it is so well hidden. What a wonder. The assistant opened my door and took me to the side of the manor through a garden of colourful flowerbeds that looked so beautiful even at night. We crossed a beautiful wooden door to a private sitting area, a place so beautiful, elegant flowers, fairy lights, a cabin made of glass walls and ceilings, I am not joking. The assistant took me in and asked me to sit on one of the chairs, I hesitantly did. I was mesmerised by the beauty , Natu

The howls faded one by one, until there was only silence, and the crackle of dying fire. Then I saw them. The Triad Sisters, the heart of Moonveil’s strength, dragged through the ashes, bound in chains that shimmered black under the moonlight. Obsidaris. The magic-weakening stone. Their cries echoed across the valley, and when their light went out, something inside the earth seemed to die with it. The air turned still. The moon dimmed. And I knew. Moonveil was gone. I stumbled, falling to my knees. Tears cut clean lines through the soot on my face. “No,” I whispered, my hands trembling over my stomach. “Please, not yet. Not before she was born.”

POV: Kael Dravon Three months after the joining was complete, the settlement had thoroughly transformed into something I could barely recognize. The boundaries between Veilborn territory and human settlement had dissolved completely, creating a unified city that existed in both worlds simultaneously. "Let's go." The drive to Prescott Café was soothing. The engine hum was broken by Alexander drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, the only sound in the room. With hawkers selling their wares on crowded sidewalks, children laughing as they chased a running ball, and the pavement covered in long shadows from the evening sun's golden rays, the city unfolded before me in a myriad of colors.

Silver light flickered across her skin. The guards stared in shock. “Open the gates,” one of them said quickly. The massive doors creaked as they slowly opened. Luna stepped inside. Arkhaven was enormous. The hidden city stretched deep into the mountain, illuminated by hundreds of glowing crystals embedded in the stone walls. Bridges connected towering buildings carved directly into the rock. People moved through the streets wearing armor similar to the guards at the gate. “Wow,” Luna whispered. “This place has been protecting the Veil for centuries,” Kael explained.

As he observed their movements and gestures, a sense of reassurance washed over him, dispelling any lingering doubts of being detected. With a keen eye, Zikk calculated the direction in which Ethan and his companions were headed. Without hesitation, he leaped down from the tree, landing gracefully on the forest floor, poised and ready to resume his watch over their journey. ... Prime Sapphire City Sia, her striking white tresses concealed beneath the hood of her cloak, stood before the ancient stone tablet, a heavy sigh escaping her lips. The tablet, a relic left behind by the mages who had constructed the magnificent Sapphire City, held a secret that had eluded the grasp of scholars and sag

"And how do we sever the link?" He hesitates. "The ancient threat is connected to the veil's remnants," he says. "The pieces that were left behind when you broke the veil. They're scattered across the wasteland. Kael has been collecting them, using them to feed his power." "Where are they?" He points to a location on the map. A city about fifty miles from here. "The ruins of Westbridge," he says. "Your old home. Kael has been using it as a base. He's been collecting the remnants there."

Each town the base of the three great trading centers situated within Balak City. The one Chen happened to be dispatched to was none other than the base of Blind Pavilion— Glazed Eye Town. The town wasn't conserved by high and mighty walls since a town has a lot more room to grow. Prematurely erecting walls and limiting the area of the town is something a trader wouldn't want to see. But this kind of atmosphere also leaves for a few spirit beasts to enter. Most of them are rodents despite their culti
