Veil Of Destiny

Veil Of Destiny

I glanced at her, catching her eye as I mouthed a thank you to her. "Will you ever leave Elizabeth alone?" He asked her, a playful smile playing on her lips. "Of course not, as she is a thorn in everyone's neck, so I will be a thorn in her neck," Elivira said to him and they both laughed. "There's a lot that we need to do. The downtown keeps suffering from the ghost hunters" Alpha Elijah said and I felt grateful that the attention had shifted from me. "The ghost hunters? I thought the downtown has been sealed?" Elvira asked but he shook his head.

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

Fated Vengeance: A Mate's Reckoning

“We find the city, the node, whatever’s holding the Veil together. We end this.” Lucian’s grip tightened, his eyes fierce. “Together.” “Together,” I echoed, the bond flaring—us, against her, against everything. --- The elders had warned of nodes—points where the Veil was thinnest, anchors for its power—but they hadn’t spoken of crossing it. Sylva, before we’d left the Hollows, had given us a map, not of land but of stars, etched on leather, its lines shifting under moonlight. It marked the valley’s node as a gate, and the city as its destination. “The Veil’s other side isn’t ours,” she’d said, her eyes on me. “It’s hers. Be careful what you bring back.”

she said and leaned towards Iktanne's ear and whispered, "... we've heard a few days ago in the library from the proctors that the Giants were collecting gold and souls from the normals. They said that there was an insignia left on the shores of the north... which might cause a great trouble because it links back here in the Academy and the Empire." Iktanne's face was wild with shock. "What insignia was it?," she whispered back. "Well, we don't know for the bell started ringing for our next class so we weren't able to get what they were saying." The blond guy, Anthony, stood up from the other end of the couch and interrupted them, saying he'll be away to get some food. He looked at Iktanne's

Alpha King's Lost Luna

Alpha King's Lost Luna

It was full of forests and wildlife, something that was wholly absent in the bustling city of Anemond. It was already noon when we finally arrived to a place Kaleb informed me was called Vlokwell. It was a large city, resembling Anemond, but with much fewer people. The streets weren’t even remotely bustling, and there were half as many tall buildings. I was taken aback by the architecture. Everything was all white and gray brick, giving it a sort of gloomy, wintery feeling.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Beneath The Billionaire's Veil

Beneath The Billionaire's Veil

I wrapped a shawl around my shoulders and sat up, making my way to the window. In front of me, the city was vibrant and busy. But, I felt completely isolated. Was this now my life? A life of duty, appearances, and biting luxury? One tear trickled down my cheek as I put my fingers on the glass. The Presley estate gardens, which were both lovely and oppressive, Shone in the dawn light in the distance. I knew I needed to figure out how to survive if this became my new reality. to endure. But as I stood there, one thought lived rent-free in my head.

The Devil's Obsession

The Devil's Obsession

The front door hung from a single hinge, the night pouring in cold and indifferent. "Wards are completely gone," Cassian said. "Whatever she released — it took the last of the protective enchantments with it." He glanced at Lucien. "We're open." "I know." Lucien moved to the window and stared into the dark. The obsidian trees stood motionless and black against a sky gone the color of deep bruising. "There's a place. The Veil Citadel. It sits at the edge of the Hollow Lands where the old borders were drawn before the Accords erased them. The wards there are pre-divine. Even the order won't cross them."

Billionaire's Dark veil

Billionaire's Dark veil

My brow furrowed as unease coiled inside me. His head turned slightly, gaze sharp as a blade. “You ask too many damn questions, Elena.” His voice was husk, edged with something unreadable. Then, without another word, he turned and walked through the gates, leaving me standing there with nothing but the echo of his words and the heavy weight of my own unanswered questions. I followed quickly, my heels clicked against the floor, Then he stopped in front of a tomb.

Veiled Obsession

Somehow, everything felt easier around him, as if he could coax her out of her shell without even trying. They strolled out into the city, a comfortable silence settling between them as they wandered through the cobblestone streets, admiring the historic buildings and charming storefronts. The rhythm of their footsteps seemed to align as if they'd known each other far longer than they had. Eventually, Alexander guided her toward a quaint, tucked-away cafe, its walls adorned with ivy and blooming flowers that cascaded over the windows. Inside, the air was warm and inviting, filled with the rich aroma of coffee and freshly baked pastries. They found a table by the window, where they could watc
