Across the city, Adriana Cole watched the broadcast from her office. Miranda stood beside her, arms crossed and a wide smile on her face. “Well,” Miranda said, “that was satisfying.” Adriana didn’t respond immediately. Her eyes remained fixed on the television as Victor disappeared into the car. The door closed. And just like that… The war was over. Miranda turned toward her. “You just destroyed the most ruthless corporate rival in the industry.” Adriana exhaled slowly. “No,” she said quietly. “He destroyed himself.” Miranda grinned.

I see a girl who had gone through worse, yet didn't allow her experience to break her or change her to who she isn't. I see a girl who isn't afraid of challenges as she'd gone through worse. “We’re getting you out.” Astrid tried to smile but she failed. She was too weak to do anything. “Hands where I can see them,” Miranda ordered. " Mira Walton, you are under arrest for kidnapping and unlawful detention. You have the right to remain silent.” Mira’s eyes darted, searching for an angle. For a moment she considered running but she looked through the window and saw as other teams secured the perimeter. Andrew arrived before the medics left. He had been on his way back when the tip came through and when he saw the police vehicles, the swarm of officers, he knew, she had been found.
