Viking Warrior Names Novels & Stories

His voice was a low, deep rumble in the morning air. "I am," I said, my voice just as flat. "The black one," he said, patting the neck of the beast on his left, "is a high-strung, ill-tempered, murderous bitch. Her name is Hela. She will try to kill you." I just stared at him. "The one on the right," he said, patting the other, "is a high-strung, ill-tempered, murderous bastard. His name is Fenrir. He will kill you."

One asked just as another questioned, "What do you need?" At that, the warrior smiled, an expression the King hadn't seen on the powerful warrior ever since he met him. The King focused raptly on the warrior because even he was curious about his name. Despite having stayed in the castle for a long while, his wife had never told him his name except that he was her brother. He looked at the warrior intensely, waiting for his reply. "I am Slovīc," The warrior finally answered. "...and I need blood." He stated. "Lots and lots of blood."

And giving up isn't even one of my choices. After all, I'm Heszhia Viggo Croñelo, and I am not named Viggo for nothing, because Viggo means war. So if they want an opponent, then war itself will accept their challenge.

“Like Fluffy? Absolutely not. Our pup needs a commanding name. Something that makes people pause. Alpha material.” “You know we don’t even know if the baby’s gonna be an alpha, right?” “Details!” he said, waving it off. “Okay, first up—Ronan Dunham. Powerful, right?” I tilted my head. “Kind of sounds like Roman.” “But this has bite! Ronan Dunham. Strong. Fearless. A warrior’s name.” “It’s not bad.” Levi practically glowed. “Okay, how about Fenrir?” “You want to name our baby after a wolf destined to eat the gods?”

However she recognized a name that was written in an arch across the top. The first one she read said Fenrisúlfr then Vánagandr, before Hróðvitnir. All names she’d seen in the research that she did. One phrase she picked out as well had a name in it. Stating that here within lay Fenrir, bound by glipenir and with blade and chain he would be held until Ragnarok. She was surprised she read it so well, like it clicked in her brain. Like she could always read it. Maybe that should have been a red flag to her, but she felt kind of excited and started to walk around the thing. That scientific geek part of her driving her onward.

"Davina Lynne Lothbrok Birthdate: 9/21/2005 Weight: 7lbs 6ounces Time: 5:23pm" "This is mine Ragnar, why was it hidden?" "Turn it around Davi" So I turned it around for it to show what hospital I was born in, which wasn't the one here, also it had a name on it, one I had only ever seen in our history books when talking about a royal family, the first werewolf family there ever was. "Freyja Mani" Old Norse for The Lady, Goddess of beauty, love, sex, war, and fertility. Mani was the God of the Moon.

"This one, yes. But so much of humanity's understanding of the supernatural is misremembered bits and pieces from the time when we lived in something like harmony... The time before the Moon Wars." I hummed. "You think you'll figure something based on how it was remembered?" "Basically. It's a shot in the dark, but I have to start somewhere." "That sounds fascinating. What myth are you reading about right now?" "I'm researching the story of Ragnarok, specifically Fenrir's role in it," he explained. "It's a captivating tale, a significant event in Norse mythology." "Why?" He smiled. "My ancestor, the first black wolf we know of, was named Fenris. It's an alternative name to Fenrir, a premier

"I was thinking of names that carry a sense of power and unity. How about naming them Leonidas, Maximus, and Valerius?" Zara pondered the names, a smile playing on her lips. "They're strong names, just like you envisioned. Leonidas, Maximus, and Valerius—it suits them perfectly." Alexander, relieved and pleased with her response, continued, "And each name carries a story of bravery and strength. Leonidas, like the Spartan king, symbolizes courage; Maximus, inspired by the Gladiator, signifies greatness; and Valerius, a tribute to valor and resilience." Zara, touched by the thoughtful choices, leaned against Alexander. "I love them. Our boys will grow up knowing the power of their names and t

the bow in honor of Amos. The Red-haired Warrior, for obscure reasons, turns his back on Barbatos and his name ends up being forgotten by the people of the galaxy of Tasmond 's empire, although his feats are still remembered, in which he ends up having a family that would bring about the birth of Ragnvindr and the creation of the Ragnvindr Family.

His voice cracks when it finally comes out. “Alpha—” Eirik’s head turns back to him deathly slow. The air changes around us, I can feel the anger rising in Eirik’s chest. Eirik lifts to his full height, and when he faces the man it’s like watching a strom decide where to land. “What is your name?” he grits out. The hooded wolf swallows, “Haldor.” I don’t recognize it, but that means nothing since I haven’t interacted with many of them.
