Violet Is Nowhere Novels & Stories

She peered at the window and noticed that big triangle tent around the cabin while Bull was slowly fixing things. "It'll be a little noisy, Violet. Sorry," Bull kept that kind smile and kind act that he always does. "I have earplugs for you." "Don't worry," Violet said as she looked outside. There's nothing but them. It seemed like it had been planned. Everything was planned. "Tell me, why am I here?" "To save you?" Chameleon answered. "And where's Viper?" "He's working with Harvey behind the back." Violet looked around and on the very old small bed. Like it's the bed of a teenager. She slipped off from the bed although she felt a sort of stinging pain. She's used to that pain.

He pushed it open. Violet was not at her desk. She was perched on the edge of it, one leg crossed over the other, the tight black dress riding high on her thigh. She had poured two glasses of amber liquid from a bottle of whiskey he recognized as expensive. The harsh overhead light was off; the only illumination came from a green-shaded desk lamp, casting the room in deep shadows and pools of warm light. It softened her edges, but did nothing to dim the intensity in her eyes. “Close the door,” she said, her voice a low, smooth command.

In a remote place like this, people have no idea what's right or wrong. Gabriella gave a soft smile. "As long as it's making an impact." She tilted her head back slightly. Before her were the towering mountains—barriers that had kept women trapped for years. Her power was limited, but if she could help even a little, it was worth it. Suddenly, something crossed her mind. She turned to Velma. "Where's Violet? I haven't seen her around." Velma glanced around. "She was here just now. I think she took a phone call and went back to her room."

They understood each other even if their thoughts weren't verbalized. "Help! Help me! Kiara, where are you? Kiara, please save me! Kiaraaaa!" Violet screamed before she plummeted into darkness. ~~~ When she gained her senses back, she sat straight with a gasp. “W-where am I? I… I was in the dungeon.” She flicked her eyes and rubbed them before she looked around again. But it was real! The thing she was seeing was real. “How's everything white? Where's the sky, the land, trees, birds, buildings? What place is this?” Violet tried to stand up and a current of pain shot up her limbs.

I hear a little tap, and then a click, and as the car vibrates, I put together that he put on a CD. Chromatic's Touch Red plays. The familiar piece fills the car, the almost-haunting instrumentals bouncing off the windows and into my ears. "When you can't see, first, you listen." Alex leans over and whispers. I sit, lips parted, taking in the way the vibrations make the hair on my skin stand. "It was the day you pushed past the front doors, trekked up over twenty steps into my office," he spoke. The stereo still plays, and so I lean into his voice as best as I can.

Violet gives me the most mesmerizing gaze as she takes a few steps closer till there is almost no room between us. “This morning? I don't know what you're talking about, Leo,” she taunts. Before I can react, Violet grabs my arm and throws me on the bed. I land on my back with her still standing above me. Her lovely brown eyes search my face like a lioness and I find myself unable to move. “Are you referring to when your subordinate messed with me?” Her face is now inches away from mine. “Or are you talking about when you became a walking hurricane of fury because I got hurt?” Violet maintains her stance for a few moments longer before bursting into laughter and stepping back.

Will they melt her icy cold heart? Unpolished. Unkempt. Unleashed. Undercover. January 20, 2020 Richland County, South Carolina Secret Agent Violet, age twenty-six, was sat in a café gorging on a cinnamon crunch bagel beside a latte. She held a book with a built-in camera behind and a small screen inside the book focused on a mid-50's man sitting two tables away from her. Ronaldo Peige- a Mexican-American businessman, imperturbably settled on a single-seater sofa waiting for his client while sipping his Black Eye coffee.

Luna was grabbing my shirt, begging me to talk about something I didn’t even understand. I turned to face Kyros, the only person who still seemed a bit sane. “What is going on?” I asked, and he locked eyes with me. “Violet is missing.”

Lucas said, dismissing her accusations as he left. Moments later, Violet stood alone, her face wet with tears as she sank to the ground. But then she remembered something.“Wave…” she whispered, her spirit sparked with a sliver of hope. She hurried to their house, noting the crowded street but lacking the strength to find out why. When she reached the door, she found it ajar. A neighbor rushed toward her. "Violet! Where have you been? Wave… Wave… he…” “Wave? What happened?” Violet panicked, her heart racing.

I had searched for his figure a few minutes ago but I didn't find him in the same room as we were in. "He'll be here a few minutes from now." James replied as his eyes looked forward pleased at the magician who was entertaining us an hour ago. He had answered so for the past twenty minutes. My patience is running out. James went to see his friend after accompanying us for a while or actually talking to his men. "Violet?" I frowned when a woman came toward our table. Do we know each other. She looked around first before hesitatedly walking closer to us. " Is that really you? Oh my God. I can't believe you're here! What are you doing here? Did you come with Vincent? Where is he? He's here too?
