Virus King Chapter 3 Novels & Stories

Chapter One Inside the very large vampires' den, with a ray of light, penetrating in from nowhere, flashing on the throne, which was adorned with nothing, but gold, looking shiny and all beautiful. The atmosphere tensed up, as all the vampires in the den, stood on their feet, maintain a straight face, they all looked like they're waiting for someone. Minutes later, a violent wind filled the entire place, and slowly, a strong scent, filled every inch of the atmosphere, followed by a dark and intimidating aura, sending shivers down their spines. The atmosphere tensed up, as fear gripped all of them.

[Third Person POV] Vorges, the Vampire King’s son, was grinning widely while walking the hallway towards the King's throne room. Other vampires looked at him with brows furrowed. They barely saw him entering the castle. With respect to their King’s son, they bowed their heads. Some greeted Vorges, but he just swiftly passed by them, as his time was more precious than chit-chatting around like a useless vampire. He knew his fellow vampires hated his guts. So he didn’t bother getting along with them.

Below her, through the grate, she saw the King. Valerius wasn't a wolf. He was sitting in a high-backed chair, wearing a specialized headset that shielded his brain from the frequency. He looked at the massive computer bank in front of him, a glass of wine in his hand. “The Great Reset,” the King whispered to himself. “If I can't rule a kingdom of men, I will rule a kingdom of beasts.” Faith didn't wait. She kicked the grate open and dropped into the room. The King spun around, his eyes wide. “You! How are you here?”

I was about to pop his head out of his neck when I remembered Christopher was watching, and I didn't want to spoil the mood, and killing this vampire, no matter how disgusting he was, was going to do that. It would leave Christopher traumatized so I let go of him and sped back to Christopher's side. The man wrapped his hand around his throat and gasped rubbing it over and over as it head. The other two snarled at me. "How dare you harm him. Do you know who we are" I just rolled my eyes. If Christopher wasn't here, I'd have killed them off but I couldn't do that. "You couldn't even finish me off to show how weak you've become. The black death himself cannot kill anymore because some of human

Enough if the talk, how do we find him? "But the people think he is dead," Justus said. "We'll figure that out." * They were back in the tunnels and the vampires had heard the news from them and they grieved. It was time for a new start, a new beginning and so they made Sebastian their king, their lord to rule over them and keep them safe. They made the hill tunnels their home. On the third night, Sebastian and Aurora went out into the open and lay under the stars. "I feel like I've caused you more loss than happiness," he spoke, his eyes to the heavens, his fingers unconsciously tracing the scar on her right wrist.

My mind tried to comprehend how one could move that fast as I strained to hear their words. My ear perking up as the newly made sneered, laughing sardonically, "The King of Vampires graces a low life with his presence". The King of Vampires, I thought, my eyes going round as saucers and the newly made continued, "To what do I owe the pleasure, Jacob?" And the floodgate of memories unleashed itself on my mind.

he threw back as he made his way to the door “yes love” mave threw back making his brother go “love why is he love?” consus said, he heard as mave purred softly “because now YOU’RE my king” “i... i am?” his brother stuttered back

"It's spreading." I smirked, my satisfaction a bitter taste on my tongue. I wasn't really expecting to hit the King. I didn't know he was drinking the same water his people drink. I wouldn't do that if I were him. Well, that's what he gets for being the kind king. Hahaha. "My lord," a concerned voice called out, "the king's fever is rising." I watched as the royal healer rushed to the king's side. It’s amusing to watch him be unaware that he was treating a patient infected with a virus he couldn't cure.

A searing heat flooded my core, rushing all the way up to my flushed cheeks. I waited for him to shove me off. I waited for the fury. But Varek didn't move. He lay perfectly still in the snow, the cold doing nothing to cool the blazing, predatory fire in his dark golden eyes as he looked up at me. His gaze dragged from my parted lips, down the length of my messy blonde hair, and rested on where my hands pinned him down. A slow, dangerously amused smile curved the corner of his mouth. "Interesting." My breath hitched. And in that terrifying, electric moment, I realized exactly what I had just done. I hadn't just survived the training yard. I had just pinned the Alpha King.

His work will end up in shambles and it will turn into dark ages for vampires again and he refused to let that happen. Still he knew that the other races were faring just as the vampires were. Some shifters has already tried to challenge the alpha king and it ended badly for them. He didn't know about the sorcerers but he knew that Carson was on edge these days and soon, the main race in each of this fractions will be challenged by other races.
