Clotho POV It's been weeks since Tate and Channing had made their decision about Emiko. They had already found a way to get her to be human so she could be killed. We knew this, and were trying to figure out how two souls broke free of their string of destiny. This was something unheard of in our times as Fate. We were going through the books of the original Fate. I closed the last book I was reading and growled. "Oh my fucking gods." Atropos cursed with joy.

He knew that but still did so while holding onto Yuki's cold body. Fūma was shocked and speechless; this hit him so hard. That was what he felt when he saw Yuki's little hand stop moving. He did not want to believe the fact he found before his eyes. He did not want to accept it! His soul was rebelling! 'Why? Why does all this have to happen? Why should it be her? Charles what is your question?” Fate looked at me, from above us, scrolls were sorting themselves out and selecting a few. The chosen ones floated down to the table and arranged itself. Catalina stared with wide eyes. “Why did you create her? Can her fate not be changed? Is there something she can do to save the world if her fate can't be changed?” Fate’s eye shifted from Catalina to I then back to Catalina. “I will take her first so she won't be grumpy and ruin her pretty face.”

After a brief pause, I still refused outright. "They don't deserve it." The bloody path I fought through in my last life was something Mona should walk herself this time. Jonah smiled faintly. "You and your sister really are different." With that, he went upstairs. Watching his back, a dead memory stirred. In the flames, I seemed to see that same figure running toward me. Or was that just a hallucination before death? Early the next morning, I received a notification that a large sum of money had been transferred out of my bank account.
