They are led to the throne room where the queen of the witches sits. A woman steps forward and approaches the group. “Hello Rex, welcome back and who are they? So I can introduce them to the queen? " asks the woman. “I am Hector. Nice to meet you,” says Hector. “I am Ash. Lovely to meet you,.” says Ash. “I am Ruby, beautiful dress, .” says Ruby. The woman smiles and steps back. “My queen: Rex, Hector, Ash and Ruby from Ember City,” says the woman. The queen motions them forward. Hector and Rex come forward. Ash and Ruby stay back a few feet. All bow lightly out of respect for the queen.

And I see it. A ring of trees scorched black at the base, yet alive. In the center, glowing like an ember from the bones of the earth, is the Heartwood Emberroot. Blood-red tendrils curl around stone. Fire dances faintly through its veins. I step forward. “Wait,” Inferno warns. “He’s coming.”

“There’s only one person in this house eating food now, did you realize that? The rest of us are all on liquid diets.” “That’s true,” Aislen realized, her eyebrows lifting. “Wow.” “Hello,” the woman, Ember, said solemnly to Aislen. “You may not remember me, Emissary…” “Bit hard to forget you,” Aislen replied. “Seeing as we rescued you from an island of zombie sheep.” “I thank you for that,” Ember inclined her head. “Samuel and I have been directed by the goddess to assist in your mission, to train and protect you.”

" She donated those amounts to an orphanage and tomorrow she will again donate some 60,000 dollars." Hearing this Ivan chuckled. " How is she?." He inquired. " Fine. As per your orders I am not leaving her alone whenever she goes outside." Lawrence replied. " Today she attended her class?." Ivan asked and his second hand worked on his laptop. Meanwhile hearing this question Lawrence became silent because of Ember's promise but again he smiled that why he needs to lie?.

Ember. The woman moved through the space with a kind of haughty confidence, her eyes scanning everything in sight. There was an unsettling air about her—something that blended arrogance with underlying insecurity. It was like watching a storm roll in, always on the verge of breaking, and Bella couldn't help but wonder how long it would take before Ember’s volatility exploded again.
