Waiting To Exsanguinate 소설 & 이야기

"The internal hemorrhage choked his heart! Clear! Thump! Clear! Thump!" The monitor kept screaming. Dante’s body remained entirely limp, his eyes rolled back, his skin turning a sickly, mottled blue under the harsh fluorescent lights. Silas stepped forward, his cold fingers reaching down to press against Dante’s carotid artery. He held it there for five agonizing seconds. There was no pulse. No breath. No life.

Nothing could happen to him because he was immortal as long as the vial of blood was intact. He said nothing because, as the cold grew in his breast, realization came of the hopelessness of his situation: there was no vial of blood now. The next second the light faded.

Hound’s eyes shot open, his body screaming in agony. He tried to move instinctively, but pain locked him in place. His shattered bones, jagged wounds, and the overwhelming loss of blood left him teetering on the brink of consciousness. His breathing came in shallow gasps, his body limp in the dark puddle that surrounded him, as if lying still could prolong his fleeting life. A door creaked open somewhere in the distance. Footsteps followed, hesitant at first, then quicker—urgent and determined.

"Judging by the pace of your blood flow and the way your heart is beating right now, you are currently experiencing a heart attack. It appears a blood clot has blocked your coronary arteries; you would be dead in eight minutes." Continuing with a solemn urgency, he proposed, "Alternatively, you could let me drink from you. Vampires release a serum called Sanguinix a potent elixir that prevents the untimely clotting of blood as they feed from their victims. I can infuse a substantial amount into your bloodstream, potentially dissolving the blood clots and thinning your thick blood, and perhaps your blood may satiate my thirst. However, it's imperative to acknowledge that the odds of your surv

“Hear that? That's the sound of the freezer kicking into overdrive. In ten minutes, his core temperature will drop to a point of no return. Unless, of course, you come in here and save him. I'll be waiting.” “Wait! Vincenzo! Wait a —” The screen went black. Everyone went silent. I sat there, my mind thinking about what to do. A sharp pain pierced my stomach, and I crouched. Looking down, I found the hem of my robe stained red. “Ma'am, the hemorrhage is opening. We need to get you back to the hospital.” The nurse said. “We're calling the medics,” Jose said. “We'll get you out of here. We can handle the rest from ….”

she asked, her voice clipped and efficient. The nurse was quick to respond, her face tight with concern. “We’ve stabilized him temporarily, Dr. Harrington, but it’s not looking good. The patient’s name is Landon Byers he’s O-positive, and we’ve secured the blood supply, but we’ve got a serious issue with the internal bleeding. A subdural hematoma. If we don’t operate within the next thirty minutes, he won’t make it. His vitals are unstable, and we’ve already seen signs of increased intracranial pressure.”

It smells faintly of disinfectant and gun oil. We barely make it into the main living space when Silvano’s body goes completely limp. “Silvano!” I scream. He collapses. The men lower him quickly onto a large table that looks like it was built for exactly this purpose. Panic explodes in my chest. I can’t breathe. My hands are covered in his blood, and he’s so pale. “He’s losing too much blood,” one man mutters.

S) “...That is great to hear…but, T.A.S…I am losing to much blood now…call for help now…” In all honesty as an Ex-Medic, I know the extend of danger that I’m in right now, and it certainly not good at all, though I am awake, I already started to lose strength and my vision were getting hazy and blurry. “[At this point..you will bleed out to death in just 3 hours…I have already called for help..from the Rootstock Medical Institute and contacted Professor Isabella Marcos and also has confirmed that she will be the one who will be operating on you…I have also informed all Virtue Financial Higher echelon about your situations…Helena is on her way back from Virtue Financial office and also Bang D

He is still holding onto his last breath desperately. Suddenly, he hears some rustling noises coming in his direction. He immediately turns alert. Although his face is pale due to the excessive loss of blood, his eyes are fierce. From the intent of killing that is oozing out of his face, it seems as if he has been anticipating their arrival for a long time.

He was already halfway gone. “Lacey, I need full vitals monitored and a blood transfusion started now. Type O-negative until we get a match. Get ready to suction as soon as I begin. Nurse Kim, I want surgical clamps and gauze prepped. And give me a trauma tray—he’s crashing fast.” They moved like clockwork. Lacey grabbed the vitals monitor and adjusted the settings with practiced speed. Kim was already preparing the clamps, her gloved hands steady. I looked at the impalement.
