But Olivia was awakening it now, and in doing so, she was walking a path that might lead to destruction. One evening, after a long day of training, Olivia wandered into the forest alone. She needed space—time to think, to understand what was happening inside her. The clearing where the watcher had appeared still held an eerie sense of dread, but Olivia felt compelled to return to it. There was something calling to her, urging her to listen to the land.

"Good. I'll be heading out tomorrow to visit them. It's time to show them what I'm capable of." With determination, Olivia ended the call and accelerated her car, the engine purring smoothly as she sped down the road. "It's time," she murmured to herself, a hint of a smile on her lips. The city blurred around her as she drove, her mind focused on the plans she had set in motion. New York, here she came. The next morning, Olivia woke up to the sound of her phone buzzing with notifications. She reached over to silence it, but her eyes widened as she saw the breaking news headline:

Immediately, she tries to get out of my bed, but I don't let her. "Oh, hold on, where do you think you're going?"

If I hadn’t been wearing the silver collar and my wolf had been awake, I would have been able to smell her, but I had to settle with awkwardly asking an Omega for directions. After getting the right door, I knocked. I heard a groan from inside, so I decided to open the door and snuck in. Olivia was lying on the mattress with the blanket pulled over her head. “Olivia, it’s me,” I whispered. Olivia sat up and hissed at me. “You’re lucky that you are you.” She muttered and swung her legs over the edge of the bed. “Waking a sleeping vampire is a death sentence otherwise.” “Oh, sorry,” I said and sat down on the bed next to her. “I’ll remember that next time.”

Returning back to Gold villa, Olivia soaked in a hot bath. It was four o'clock in the morning but she wasn't feeling sleepy despite having not slept the entire day. She was still thinking about her encounter with Xenia. Olivia was contemplating on calling Claire and telling her about what had happened or just letting it be. She did not want to trouble Claire more. Taking a slice from the water melon fruit in the small serving bowl beside her, she chewed on it and then reached out for another one.

Tristan's POV In the end, Willa signed the divorce agreement and walked out of the ward in silence. I was still too weary from having just woken up, and I barely managed a couple of sentences with Willa before drowsiness washed over me again. When I finally opened my eyes again, I realized that evening had settled in. Delilah walked into the ward with the warm chicken noodle soup and noticed the divorce agreement with both signatures. She merely set the container down and opened it, her eyes narrowing slightly as she said, "You woke up just in time, Tristan. I just made this, so please have some."

He found it unbelievable that someone going on a trip slept on a seat. He left to prepare a hot coffee for her since that was the only thing he could do for now. He placed it on the table adjacent to his bed before waking her up. “Oh… I am already late for the trip,” Olivia sprang up like a baby. Her eyes widened as she saw Alden. He isn't on the bed with his eyes shut. He was indeed awake. “So it isn't a dream,” she muttered and Alden nodded. “I see. But you have to pretend not to be awake. You have to act like you aren't in this house.”

I've been back in the country today and I have been waiting at the airport for you for an hour and a half!"
