It was almost thirty minutes later that we heard a door slam. I armed myself and went to check the cameras on the big screen in the living room. Ricki and Zayne, both loaded with bags were heading up the porch of the cabin. I nodded to Vianne to answer the door as I looked in on Claire. So much for being werewolves. In front of a gun, we were nothing special. We all died from bullets. Ricki and Zayne were in the kitchen, helping Vianne unload the groceries when I returned. "She's still asleep, baby."

Just when he was about to reach her, she opened her eyes. "Are you done playing?" she asked in confusion. "Yeah." He nodded. "Are you tired?" "Just a little." "Well, let's head back." "Alright." As they traveled back in the car, she scrolled through her phone out of boredom. Suddenly, a piece of news caught her eye. Rick had gotten into an accident while he'd been on his way home, and he'd died on the spot.

Without hesitation, Rick ran towards the car, ripping out the locked door, he pulled out the body letting out a sigh of relief when the face didn't belong to her.
