Everyone could hear them bickering till I heard Jessy bet with someone behind me. I looked at Jessy, who was talking to Jona, saying the bed Wanda would get him to obey, Jona was betting against it, and Mark said they would both get their tails smacked. I shook my head at what Carter shouted, “I bet they will both get their tails smacked. Oh, and by the way, the castle started lunch. You can go eat. I have it covered over here” everyone that was on the roof by me left to the castle, I gave Carter a knowing look to which he sends me an air kiss in return, gods this man was cute.

Jackie wanted to consult with Jesse, the motorcycle moonshiner, to get his input on their predicament. Jodi tagged along to his house on the edge of town. They walked around the back of his one-story home to find him tuning up his Harley. Jodi yelled out to him. “Hey, Jesse.” Jesse looked up. “Hey, girls. What brings you over?” They sat down at an old picnic table. Jackie and Jodi told Jesse what happened Saturday night and about Marty Schaffer.

Dallas laughs, arm slung around Acer’s shoulder, who's still bruised, but the welt on his face no longer swelling up the entirety of his eye. "This guy," Dallas laughs, crossing his legs. "He should work for Mr. Javier. Look at how he's got you two. Scared shitless. It's amazing." Jesse I decided to take a break from my constant pursuit of Carrie. For a while, I needed to refocus on my responsibilities as the Alpha in our werewolf pack. My task was to prepare for leaving Silverfang and to accompany Jaxon, a highly talented young individual from our pack, to the most renowned school on the entire continent. Jess turned to Matthew and blushed as she realized that all of them just saw what they did. “What happened?” Jess asked embarrassed. “Joshua had to leave, before his wolf took control.” Matthew said. Jess looked up at what Matt just said and got confused. “Did he get jealous because I kissed Xavier? But I’m all of your mates?” Jess asked, she never thought actually about how a relationship would work with five people involved, would they share or would I let them share. How would this even work? Jess’s mind was running a mile a minute as she thought of all the possible outcomes.

Jake is in surveillance, he pauses at the door like he wants to say something, and when Jesse comes to stand by my side, he walks away. I exhale. Kelly and Jesse are on my personal protection team. Not like I need anything like that, but Jazz and I are on Jesse protection team, so it works out. “Now, I don’t want to hear no kissing sounds.” Jazz says, Jesse grins, “Don’t worry, we’re mostly soundless- okay, that’s a lie, Elijah makes a lot of beautiful sounds.” I swat him away. Jesse shouts, starting forward, livid, raising his fist like he’s going to beat the shit out of Jacks. Jackson snarls, taking a step away, holding me possessively to him as Rafe stands and jumps between my mate and my cousin. “Whoa, whoa, Jess!” Rafe shouts, putting out a hand to stop our cousin in his tracks. “You don’t have all the information here!” Jesse obligingly skitters to a stop, looking between Rafe and me with his mouth open. “What are you talking about!?” Jesse shouts, staring at Rafe in shock. “You’re just – you’re okay with this!? What the hell happened out there –“

Wanda had orchestrated this perfectly. An hour later, I was sitting across from her in a quiet cafe on the outskirts of town. 'Collins, the grief has really taken its toll. You look like a ghost,' Wanda said, her voice dripping with fake sympathy. 'I hope you find your footing. After all, life has a way of getting much harder from here.' She took a slow, elegant sip of her latte. 'Oh, and I nearly forgot—my newest partner is Jess’s father. Which makes Ethan and me practically family soon.'

Sometimes she even thought that even Jim did not had the prominent acting skill as Daniel did. Walt didn't want to hear such words. The better their relationship was, the more strike it would be on him. However, he did not show any difference, and he remained a gentle expression on his face.
