She started typing something furiously and attentively. Time passed and Sakshi was totally exhausted with the hectic day... Making a whole damn file, gathering points and assembling them.. playing with words just so it looks like in favour was totally exhausting and the regular patients and 3 lined up surgeries were just the cheery on top.... She shut down her laptop not before transferring the file to an USB because she perfectly knew that she could be suspected if she took her laptop with her to home as she never did so before and moreover she was sure Rudra would be keeping an eye on her after the clash they had in the morning....

“Nyra Ravenwood.” Rozelyn didn’t remember hearing or reading that name. “What happened then?” The raven-haired Thaumaturge asked. “I was eager to prove that the so-called immortality-giving flower is a phony. So, I tried it; drank it. And the rest is history,” Rosette continued, tears silently flowing from her sorrowful emerald eyes.

And something about these files felt wrong. "What's the matter?" Rose asked, entering his home office with a cup of coffee. Her movements were jagged, tense, like a loaded spring ready to snap. Her obsession with Camille's engagement had only worsened over the past two days. "I'm not sure yet," Herod murmured, not looking up from the screen. He pulled up another file, comparing the two side by side. "Something about Walsh's information doesn't add up." Rose set the coffee down harder than necessary, liquid sloshing over the rim. "What do you mean, doesn't add up? We paid him enough, it better be accurate."

Jasmine asked with a shudder, not even wanting to know. "Hundreds, Malac kept records when he took over but before that, I never kept count" Rose shrieked. "Name every person that is responsible for helping you," Jasmine said, glaring down at Rose, watching the fear role through her eyes. "The Brookwater's, Emma, Darren, Phillip, Bethany, Elizabeth and Andrew. The Ferngates, Adam, Louise, Sarah, Johnathan, Samual, Angela, Leah and Carolanne. Stephanie, Sophie, Reginald. The Devaux's Sophia, Adalyn, Kamile, Patric and Garan and Freya and Mia" Rose rattled off, hissing each name out between her teeth as the sword forced them from her.

"What else?" "The flowers," I breathed, my heart hammering a frantic, erratic rhythm against my ribs as the dark, addictive chemistry between us flared to life. "No white lilies. They smell like a funeral. Use the dark roses from the estate gardens." "Marcus," Rowan called out without breaking eye contact with me. "Write it down." "Already on it, Boss," Marcus’s voice drifted from the shadows of the transept, laced with a quiet amusement that made my cheeks burn.

"Oh, Carlo. Look at me. Take a good look... Whose wedding do you think this is? This is my wedding. Mine, and I'll be marrying Luca. And you? You're just a madman crashing someone else's wedding." His smile froze. Tears rolled down his face. "No… It's not true… Rosa, you love me…" I dropped the wilted roses at his feet. "You're wrong. I did love you...but that was in another life. You murdered that love with your own hands, and my life along with it. All I have for you in this life is hate." I took Luca's arm and walked past Carlo without looking back. His cries echoed behind me, but none of that mattered to me anymore.

A looked crossed his eyes,but it went away as quickly as it came, and soon he was looking at me amused again. "Of course, I didn't anticipate finding raunchy books in a sweet girl's bag, you're definitely right. Noted, I'm never doing that again." I scowled and he smirked. "So Rosie?" He asked, I couldn't help it, I rolled my eyes at that, rubbing at my temples. "No, my name's Rosette, not Rosie. That's childish." "Okay, so Rose. Well that's a pretty name for a very pretty girl, as cliché as it sounds, it's the truth, you're a pretty little flower." And the blush that was barely receding was back again.

She is wincing in pain. "Careful Xavier she's covered in Wolfsbane and who knows how much is in her system." Arlo says to me, as he's working on the chains. "I know, I can taste it." I say turning my head to the side and spitting on the ground. Arlo and James finally get the chains off of her ankles and wrists. Rose falls into my arms, her body trembling. I picked her up bridal style, holding her close. James quickly threw his jacket over her naked body.

“Ermm…I really want to, Rose.” I looked away from her nipples and struggled to keep my eyes on her face. “But we have company.” “What!” Rosemary dropped her hand. However, my blood didn't stop rushing. I swallowed hard again. “He says he's from Mounty. Something about a car. I don't know.” “A car?” Her eyes narrowed. Before I could say another word, she walked past me. I looked at her back, only to see that her ass was jiggling and the light was reflecting through the transparent fabric.

She drove to the rose garden and sat silently by the flowers for a long, long time. "Nathaniel, I know you planted this garden. No one else but you knew I loved roses. But I never imagined that—" She choked up, tears streaming down her cheeks and dripping onto the roses. "Nathaniel, you always knew what I was thinking and constantly managed to surprise me. But this time, I would rather not have this surprise." Yvonne's voice was laced with anguish beyond words. Though the soil had been replaced, a faint and barely perceptible scent of blood still lingered in the air.
