Rose looked so excited, I had to chuckle. “You know you’re obsessed,” I told her. “Obsessed with what?” Nate asked. “Rose here reads and writes werewolf porn,” Kimi answered. Rose petals were also scattered along the pathway. She smiled as she saw him approach the gate. He noticed the rose-strewn path leading to the main door. She peeked slightly as she heard the main door open. There was an envelope labeled “Will.” He climbed the stairs, where another envelope read “You.” Roses lined the steps up to her room. On the door was a final note: “Marry Me?”

“Nyra Ravenwood.” Rozelyn didn’t remember hearing or reading that name. “What happened then?” The raven-haired Thaumaturge asked. “I was eager to prove that the so-called immortality-giving flower is a phony.
