The hum swelled, and a voice emerged, sweet and intoxicating: “Jessica, heart of the nexus, weave your love eternal.” A figure appeared, not a weaver or a mother, but Kade, his form glowing with love, his amber eyes soft, his voice a whisper of promises. “I am Ardyn,” he said, his tone Kade’s, rich with devotion. “The Love Weaver. You wove the dawn, Jessica. Weave with me, and our love will bind the nexus forever.”

I let out a slow breath, willing my hands to stop shaking. Damon didn’t move for a long moment. Then, finally, he looked at me.

Kiran put the bags down and the exhaustion was noticeable. “Who’s the woman?” Malachi asked. “Charlotte. She’s a witch and his girlfriend,” Kiran said. “I can never thank you enough for this, Kiran,” Malachi said. “Dad, you know I’d do anything for you. Let’s go downstairs so you can meet Charlotte. You’ll like her and she knows Levi best. I know you have questions,” Kiran said with a smile. Malachi closed the bedroom door behind him and followed Kiran downstairs.

All for a girl.” That brought out a long, amused laugh from Draco. “A girl?” he echoed mockingly. “Gods above, don’t tell me. Some high ranking Alpha daughter? A political match gone wrong?
