I manage to get on top and slap my paw down on its fat throat. I wrap my claws around its neck and begin to squeeze. “We want your daughter,” the pig says barely choking. I squeeze tighter. “We’ll get her too,” the pig says this time with greater struggle and I delight in its suffering. “It’s true.” I hear another voice say. As I break the pigs neck I turn my head over my shoulder and see another wolf standing behind me. “What do you mean its true?” I ask, anger blurring my vision again. The wolf shakes his head.

He licked his teeth and drew the mic close to his lips. The lyrics snarled out of the amplifiers and crawled out over the crowd riding the waves of the music. All I could make out was something about a witch being burnt alive and getting revenge. When it got to the chorus, it was as if he was asking the audience a question. A question I wasn’t sure of the answer to. Am I Evil?

Not like this. The flying pigs were swirling again. Calling out to her all at once so it was hard to pick out what they were saying. Bits and pieces floated down to her. “Come play!” One extremely chunky porker swooped close enough that she caught their plea. “Fly with us!” Another knocked into her shoulder; it strangely didn’t hurt, but the little guy went spinning off course for a moment, before finally righting himself. “Be free!” Another sat on her head and squealed loud enough to rattle her teeth, “Be free!!!!”

We finished up the second song and I leaned into the mic to start the song off. ‘We’ll never get free, lamb to the slaughter’ ‘What you gonna’ do when there’s blood in the water?’ ‘The price of your greed is your son and your daughter’ ‘What you gonna’ do when there’s blood in the water?’ Vince took over and I hit the bass drum, to start off the chorus. My eyes glowed as we finished the verse and we dropped into the chorus and I slammed across the toms and cymbals. It was fucking awesome. I hadn’t been this excited and this pumped before.
