Professor Faren had a slight frown on his face, that he quickly shrugged off as we arrived at the guard outpost.

She watched him walk away toward the lobby. He'd be spending the day out on the water with the water with Nate Ivory, one of the hotshot millionaires who lived on the island and owned, among other things, the local minor league baseball team. Warren's roster of friends and clients could have come straight from Forbes, but Bailey knew he'd worked very hard to accumulate it. On top of that, he was a really good guy.

As the group walked out and reached the pavilion, they heard Warren lecturing Xavier angrily. “I’ve spoiled you too much! You’re already a grown-up. Why are you still so immature?! How can you easily call off an engagement whenever you want?” Warren was standing beside the fountain. His hair was completely white. He wore a black plush trenchcoat and looked unruffled. His age had left traces on his face. He was old, but his voice was still full of vigor. “You can say all you want, but why did you bring her back? What is this? Are you trying to embarrass me?”

“So… Could it be that he’s going to make a breakthrough in his training to become a warlord?” Warren believed that this would most probably be Kayson’s goal. “Could it be that there’s something in the spear that will help Kayson to become a warlord?” Meanwhile, he sensed a few powerful auras showing up at the entrance of Admiralporium on his way back. Warren’s expression changed drastically, and he immediately exerted all his strength to get there swiftly. In front of Admiralporium’s entrance… Abel and the others got there after discovering that Lex, Seth, and Payton were missing by the time they visited the Rivspring Chamber of Commerce.

Making subtle moaning whimpers and sniffs. It’s no surprise to me as I watch Annabelle, led by Cora, move towards the little car parked nearby and the ravens fly to the nearest trees to watch her closely. Warren has been friends with me since highschool and has always taken good care of me..

Besides, if he slapped your daughter, then he might have done so because your daughter offended him and did something blatantly outrageous. I suggest that you drop this matter. As far as I'm aware, your daughter tends to be really stubborn most of the time, and—"

She’d spent most of the past week and a half here with the man, and she had to admit that he still puzzled her in many ways. For a guy who was Donovan ‘Joker’ Kane’s flesh and blood, Warren didn’t seem all that fearsome. He was, in actual fact, a nice guy. Not the brightest bulb in the box, to be sure, but a decent human being… which was the one thing that Joker Kane most definitely was not.

My phone beeps and I quickly fetch it from the pile of files in my desk. MEET ME AT OREON. -BENNETT. A meeting..... With Bennett.
