Warrior Cat Name Meanings Novels & Stories

he replies. “But I’m a warrior!” “And? Many warriors give birth.” “What’s your name?” I ask. “Acclicio, but you can call me Clio,” he replies. “I don’t get it. Both of my parents are werewolves,” I groan. “Did you consider that only one of your parents is your true parent?” He asks.

I named him Kael, a name that means ‘mighty warrior,’ suited for a fierce and courageous werewolf. But would he live up to the strength that name implied, or would his mixed blood betray him, turn him into something neither wolf nor human? These thoughts haunted me, lingering even in my dreams. When the ceremony had finally drawn to a close, I decided to speak to my family over breakfast the next morning.

A tear slipped free, warm against the cool night. "But I didn't die," she said stubbornly. "I'm here. So... why?" The moon climbed higher, shedding more of itself, its pale light slowly washing over the clearing. Stars bloomed around it, scattered dust across the endless dark. "Everyone else seems to know their place," Luna said. "Even the ones who complain—they still belong. They're warriors. Scouts. Healers. Mothers. Sons. Daughters. They have names that mean something when people say them. When they say *Luna*, they just mean... the runt. The orphan. The burden."

He rubbed his hands nervously. “...He is the commander of the warriors. We call them warriors or soldiers, not detectives or cops though they can be referred to as that but it’s because we fight war.” It wasn’t making any sense to me, that this existed, and I am his mate. “It doesn’t make any sense to me.” I folded my hands defensively across my chest. Neon slaps his palm against his forehead. “You want to see him, Jax?” “Who is Jax?” “My wolf.”

I can hear the smile in his voice when he says, “Though, after last night, I wonder if kitten would be a better name for you.” I feel more relaxed knowing Taran didn’t call me “dove” because of a fantasy I had. Maybe the whole calling a lover “dove” is more common than I thought. They do represent faithfulness and love, so it makes sense to be a pet name. Though, I know Taran only used it because of the loyalty aspect. “Kitten?” I say, surprised. “Yes, kittens can be cute and sweet but also bite and scratch.” I can feel the smile on his face, “They are not nice when they don’t get their way.”

She asked loudly, waiting for him specifically to answer. War sighed, hating how all of this was turning out. His wolf just wanted to grab their mate and go but unfortunately, it was just not that easy. Not to mention she was upset. "Pomelia is my mate...my name is War from Bane pack," he explained to her, knowing he should just get that out of the way immediately. Bane pack was infamous...not a place where anyone wanted to brag about, at least not in such a holy place.

I'm made of sharp edges and vengeance, and I will not crumble. "Eleven years. You should be more informed," I snap. It's a foolish mistake to irritate a Warrior, but I'm tired of being undermined and treated as a disposable toy. He clenches his fists. He's the perfect impersonation of danger, and for the first time, I wonder who exactly I'm dealing with here. "Careful," the word barely escapes his gritted teeth. "We're done here. I will only answer to your Alpha," my voice comes out cold and detached.

The tengu nodded and waited. Herne leaned against a tree and drank from the hip flask, "You two hearing the bells too?" He chuckled, "It's funny. You and Archon have a much stronger bond." Warren watched the eidolon shake his head for a solid five minutes, "He cares about his eidolon. Why else would he bother to name it?" Cyrus raised the phone in the air, "I found the perfect name, Giichi. I think it means Justice, or at least is one of the meanings."

No, a warlock … that’s the word for males. Chance cleared his throat as if he were my dad, scolding me and I wanted to growl. But he was a seasoned warrior and fought alongside my brothers as a Shadow Warrior. I was hardly fit to challenge him in any fashion. “Meadow, this is Ben. Ben this is Meadow,” Chance said. I pulled back from my mate and we smiled at each other. He took my hand again and kissed it. “It is truly my honor, Meadow,” he said. “Yeah so uhm, I’ll just leave you guys and uh head back then,” Chance said, clearly not sure what to do with himself.

She gave him one look, and then her eyes fell back on me. "First, I would like to tell you a story. It is about a warrior named Catalyn, the blessed. She was a blessing from the moon goddess herself; she was best at every single thing she did. The moon itself smiled at her, but there came a dreadful day. The Lycans attacked her pack while she was away hunting and slaughtered every one of her pack members, they were only a pack of fifty. She returned back to see what had befallen her people, the people she loved and could give her life for.
