I watched as a rust-coloured wolf barrelled toward a snow-white wolf who was looking the other way. I lunged at Rusty, transforming in mid-air and knocking him with alarming force to the right. My teeth sunk into his side and I pawed and bit until I knew he was too injured to fight, but not dead. I don't kill, I immobilize.

The cat growled and lunged at him again, teeth bared, but the warrior stepped aside with fluid precision. “Woah! I think that cat’s overdue for a nap.” He said with a chuckle, glancing towards Lyra and motioning to the attacking animal. The wild cat flailed, its sharp teeth gnashing at his wrist, but he didn’t flinch. With a grunt, he swung the creature to the side with a force that sent it tumbling into the wet grass. The wild cat’s body flickered like a mirage for a moment, but it recovered quickly, spinning around and launching itself at the warrior once more, its body a blur of twisted motion.

Pissed off that he would say such a thing, it pissed me off more than when he called me a half-breed. His father smiles at my reaction before using his Alpha aura trying to get me to submit. I smile and for the first time in my life, I use mine. Stepping forward and placing my hands on the desk and leaning over, looking him dead in the eye suddenly feeling overly protective of my mates. His father's eyes narrow as he tries to exert his force over me when I hit him with mine, making him gasp. Sweat beads on his forehead as he fought against my silent command before I felt my eyes bleed red, giving the room a red tinge too.

The warrior lunges at me, but I sidestep with ease, my movements fluid and confident. He tries again, a flurry of claws and fangs, but it’s like fighting a shadow. I dodge each attack, my reflexes honed to perfection. With a quick swipe of my paw, I knock him off balance, sending him sprawling to the ground. A chorus of awe ripples around my pack warriors, their eyes fixed on me, their alpha, with reverence.

With a resentful bellow, he leaped backwards, extricating himself from the fight momentarily with a terrible gash across his chest bleeding profusely. Swoosh! A leopard with its fur a full coat of glittering silver pounced at Winsome Widow. It was the scholarly-looking warrior's battle pet. It bared its sharp fangs still slick with streaks of blood, snarling viciously with a putrid stench of blood wafting out its mouth. In the air, Winsome Widow somersaulted, twirling herself like a ballerina while delivering a deadly slash, slicing the silver leopard into two identical halves with blood pouring out.

The room reverberated with the sounds of snarls and snarls, a symphony of fury and defiance. Kate launched herself at me from the side, her jaws clamping down on my hind leg. I howled in pain, but it only fueled my determination. With a swift movement, I shook her off, sending her crashing into a nearby wall. "You think you can defeat me?" I taunted, my voice laced with a primal ferocity. "I am stronger, faster, and more ruthless than either of you." But Vella wasn't about to back down.
