Chapter Two THREE DAYS EARLIER IN THE TOWN OF RIM The town hall was packed full with warriors and youths alike. There were heated words and raised voices. There were also shaking of fists and exchanged words. It took every ounce of will for each man there not to transform into their wolf skin and fight each other. It seemed after the death of Tekenna, mate to Keratin, head of the warrior wolves, all the restraints holding them back had been broken. "I say we go to war!" Bravo, one of the warriors, said. "We can't just sit around and do nothing while they kill us, no!" He stamped his hand against the pillar and it shook, letting lose plaster and dust particles from the ceiling.

He would trust in himself to keep her happy and in his life, not some strange, mystical force. The golden-eyed warrior arrived from behind a tapestry that hid the way out. "So, dog, are you ready to fight?" "Anytime, kitty cat. Anytime." The tanned fellow laughed. "I am Chaob, and it is not me that is challenging you for the female." "Pity." "Yes, because my cousin is much bigger. Not quite as big as Acat, but close." "And Acat is?" "Carlie's other mate." "Other, as in two?"

I was in awe of their courage, and I thanked them with all my heart. The pack gathered around me, and I told them what had happened. They were amazed by the bravery of the mother cat and her kitten, and they praised them for their actions. The kitten walked up to me, and I bent down to pet it. It purred loudly, rubbing its head against my hand. I smiled, a feeling of peace settling over me. I knew that I had made a new friend, and that the pack was safe. I named the kitten Lucky, and it became a beloved member of our pack.

I stated. "You will help me? Can you even fight?" She scrunched her nose, eyeing me up and down. "Ouch" Jia whispered. She knows my mate is insulting me, but I can't do anything about it. What she thinks? Am I a small kid? I can't fight? She doesn't know who I am. "Don't worry my people will help you we have the huge number of strong Warriors capable of taking down a huge army." Alpha said proudly.

I rip off my shirt, stripped down to my sports bra, and continue to try to purge my carnal needs. The scent of arousal has the male werecats circling. I open my eyes to find six of the male warriors smiling goofily at me. Dark, sensuous male bodies in different stages of undress all look as if they could devour me. “Hello gentlemen,” my voice warbles.
