I whopped as I sped on, jumping on bent tree roots and the grassy part of the woods. The mist confused my best friend and he got totally lost after he had hurt himself badly on his thigh. Bring out our dead and wounded, and let us return to Caldara.” Immediately, my warriors stop their attack. Every single one of them obeys me without question. I continue to glare at Alden as he sinks down onto the ground, his arms wrapped around his knees, and openly weeps. What a poor, pathetic excuse for a man.

I clenched my fists and opened a mind link to the warriors— both the ones that followed me here from Silvermist and the Red Moon ones nearby. Without saying a word, he gently wiped the tears from my face before leaning closer to my ear. “You're a warrior. You shouldn't be this emotional over worthless people,” he murmured. After a moment, he pulled back slightly. “So, what do you want to do with them?” “Do whatever you want,” I answered quietly. He released me and turned toward his Head Warrior. “Send them into exile. I don't want them anywhere near Bloodfang or Silver Moon Pack.”
