I pushed my wavy hair back, trying to tame it a little and ran my tongue over my chapped lips. I forced myself into the shower and pulled out my toothbrush squeezing toothpaste out of the tube, I pushed it into my mouth and started scrubbing like a mad woman. I stared at the mirror once again and spat into the sink “You're special, you're beautiful, you're amazing” I said to myself in the mirror, I've watched many tiktoks of people saying positive affirmations to themselves in the mirror. “Yeah won't work for me” I rinsed my mouth and came out from my room walking into the living room.

[Vanessa] Inhale. Take a few steps forward, open the door, smile. Blink. Remember to blink. Don’t smile, but don’t weep. The cameras are watching after all. Exhale. Low and slow, let the tension roll off of you, leaving your body. Be careful what you say. The cameras are listening too.

"Angela, sweetie, it's time to wake up for school." Angela stirred, her eyes fluttering open, and she looked up at Mitchell with a sleepy smile. Mitchell couldn't help but smile back at the adorable sight. "Good morning, Angela. Did you sleep well?" Angela nodded, rubbing her eyes with tiny fists. Mitchell carefully helped her sit up, and they both got out of bed. As they prepared for the day ahead, Mitchell noticed how Angela relied on visual cues and lip-reading to understand and communicate. She patiently gestured and spoke clearly to Angela, making sure she understood what was happening.

Her father put a meatball in his mouth. "Yeah" Alita looked a little defeated "You know mummy is busy" she forced two meatballs in her mouth. "Be careful" her mother warned. "Do not talk with your mouth full!" Her parents said in unison. Alita looked at their amused face and began to laugh, she laughed so much that the meal moved to the wrong side.

Then again, up and down. Megan pulled her finger away and then placed it in her mouth. “Sweet.” She said as she lowered herself and then let her tongue do the same thing that her finger had just done. The same pattern was then traced, and then she smiled as she looked at the doctor, who was now watching everything she did closely. “Are you getting a good enough view?”

“I don’t think it’s that big a deal because the lunch isn’t that really important, the most important are the breakfast and dinner and i always make sure to take in food inside of me by then. “Just don’t unnecessarily starve yourself.” I ended up murmuring after a few seconds and I watched as she sank her teeth into the side of her lip for a fleeting second and as soon as our eyes locked, she was scrambling to stop biting instantly. “You’ve not bitten on your bottom lip since the start of today like I asked you not to, have you?” “Huh? No, of course not.” She responded almost immediately and I pinned her with a pointed look for a few moments.

I could only pull myself to stay here. I plopped to the rug, popping the snacks in my mouth.. He sat beside me, going through the current list of movies as he asked, “ Which do you want to watch?” I could only shake my head because I had something in my mouth, but he didn't understand as he said, “ What?” I placed my palms up, pointing at my mouth as I chewed on the food faster then I gulped it though it was a huge bite and if almost stuck in my throat, I closed my eyes then pulled my mouth open as I said,

My father began his usual lecture while I was eating my salad, "Sarah is younger than you, rising up early and getting to the school bus on time… blah… blah… blah…" I hurriedly finished my plate and stood up, grabbed my bag and said, "Mr Huston, it's not advisable to talk while eating. Otherwise the food will enter the windpipe which may trigger coughing or even choking. Since you're a loving husband and a caring father, I ask you to be careful about it."

"Why do you still eat like a kid? You have breadcrumbs on your mouth" He said, taking me aback as I checked my mouth on the rear view mirror to be sure he wasn't teasing me or something but he was right! I don't know if she does that intentionally, but whenever I lose my appetite, I just need to stare at her eating, and I will end up eating more than I wished to. "Ohh. This is so good." I took my first bite and made sure that my chewing sounded a little bit loud. "Isn't that crab? "Oh my.." I took out one of the crabs and shoved it into my mouth, chewing so loudly that I was also getting more hungry. I just pray that Alpha Dean won't come in at the moment. I would be totally embarrassed. I knew there was a little sauce in my mouth. "Do you have a savette? I need to wipe my mouth," I said, searching for it around the table.
