INICIAR SESIÓNI held back my tears as my freezing form made it to my bed. I began drying myself with a towel and pulled out something more cozy to wear. I spread the skimpy clothes on one side to dry and pull up my joggers and a hoodie.
The skies outside looked dark, filled with like it was going to rain, the clouds reminded me of Rapheal stupid eyes. As his face entered my mind, I felt an odd emotion—hate. I hated him.
He did not seem to care about my existence before but now what he did seemed more like bullying.
I didn't know how breakfast on Saturdays worked but I assume it was the same. I made my way out of the room and this time the hall was flooded with people who gave me a look, great I was getting known.
I pulled the hood over my head and evaded people as I tried to make it downstairs. I'm barely down the first two steps when someone grabs me and I turn.
Daphne looks at me worried but Phoebe isn't with her. “I'm sorry about what happened, that guy is a jerk” she said, seeming annoyed and I smiled at her.
“I want to go have breakfast, where's Phoebe?” I asked.
“She's somewhere….. I'll be down soon” she said and I nodded and walked down the stairs.
I find my way to the dining room and thankfully not many people are here, I recall that I saw many people in the halls going to freshen up.
I make my way to the front as there's no line and request what to eat. The cook hands me my tray and I go and sit on an empty table and begin to eat.
People trooping slowly but I Bury my head into my noodles. “May I sit?” A voice called and I looked up to find a handsome red eyed creature staring at me. A vampire.
“Sure…..” I slur confused and my eyes subconsciously search for Daphne or Phoebe.
“I'm Maxwell, you're Cillian's girl right?” He asked and I froze. Where did that come from?
“What?” I asked confused and he chuckled.
“He boldly announced that he wanted to have you during sports” he shrugged before twisting the cap of the bottle in his hand.
“A..as a partner” I corrected, hoping everyone did not think like he did.
“Hm,” he hummed with a small smile on his lips.
“I'm not so sure about that” he replied and I heard footsteps, sure enough a familiar face is walking towards us with a bright smile, gladly showcasing his fangs. But he's not alone.
“Someone told me you got dumped in water?” He asked as he sat directly beside me invading my personal space.
“What do you want?” I asked curtly and he whistled as his entourage sits around the table, they were five.
“They got my sweet apple angry?” He shakes his head before his eyes narrowed at the boy beside me.
“Walk away” he says to the guy and I watch Maxwell walk away like a robot.
“Eyes on me” He murmurs and turns my head back to face him instead of watching Maxwell leave.
“So, what did you do to piss of weather boy?” He asked.
“Rapheal?” I asked confused and he rolled his eyes.
“I do not care for his name, I heard he pushed you into a pool” he stated and I sighed.
“He's just an immature child, for some reason he thinks he can pick on me” I admit and Cillian smiles a little.
“Are you going to let him walk over you?” Cillian asked and I shook my head. But I didn't want to give Rapheal the pleasure of getting under my skin.
“He's over there” Cillian nods and I raise my head to see Raphael and Jenna enter the dining room, as if noticing me he turns his head in my direction, giving me a once over, he looks away.
“Looks like the weather is going to keep being gloomy today” Cillian sighed before turning to his meal.
“What do you mean?” I asked confused.
“Weather boy is pissed, so are the skies” Cillian replied and rather elegantly cut his steak.
“He can control the weather?” I was surprised.
“An odd creature he is, probably just a blessed human” Cillian shrugged and raised his fork to his lips.
“Eat, dhampirs need their strength” he urges me and though I know he is trying to annoy me I ignore his taunts, as I slurp the noodles, Cillian watches me like a creep.
“What?” I asked, raising the egg to my lips and biting it.
“You still have baby teeth, no fangs yet, I guess that's what happens with dhampirs” Cillian states his observation and I raise my hands to my lips.
“No need to be embarrassed, I'm sure they'll grow” he chuckled and continued eating his steak.
“She's a dhampir?” One of his friends asked. They had not bothered to speak since they were here.
“Apparently” Cillian chuckles and I clenched my fork hard.
“So am I?” Another one said and I froze, blood draining from my face and I turned to him.
“I have fangs” he started opening his mouth, his fangs don't look as sharp as Cillian's but they're there. I noticed he had black eyes unlike the rest.
“I ... .they'll grow out” I stated and he watches me before giving me a mischievous smile.
“I'm sure they will, your human side just seems more dominant" he adds and I look away.
“Here” Cillian shoves a bottle to me and I stared at it confused. It was the same one Maxwell was holding.
“What's that?” I was confused.
“It's a blood mix, you'll need it to grow” Cillian said like it's the most obvious thing to say. I swallow hard and peer up at him.
“Sweet apple, do you wish to have your human side more dominant?” he clicked his tongue in disapproval.
I grab the bottle with shaky hands, I can smell the metallic taste of blood, it's cold and doesn't seem fresh. I stop myself from retching.
“Avery!” I hear a familiar voice and immediately drop the bottle. Daphne stomps over to where I am.
Cillian gives her a bored look and wraps his arm around my waist tugging me closer to him. I gasp at the unexpected action.
“Leave” he said to her.
“Huh?” Daphne asks rather annoyedly and glares at him, her eyes travelling down and she notices he is gripping my waist.
“Let her go you whore” she ordered and Cillian licks his fangs.
“Are you asking for a death wish?” He asked and I froze. His friends watch Daphne like they are waiting for his command.
“Try me,” she retorted. Cillian watches her and after what seems like minutes he lets go of me and raises his hands in the form of surrender.
“I wouldn't want to upset a fair lady,” he smiled.
“Avery” she called again and I stood up leaving them and walking over to her.

Ember blows her whistle after giving instruction and we begin the exercises. I groaned as I stretched to the other side and Cillian gives me a cheeky smile. I turn to the other side turning away from him and notice Raphael staring at me.I give him a confused look but he doesn't bother to break eye contact, his partner waves at me blowing a kiss. Jenna.Ember blows her whistle and taps Lucian on the back, he groaned and begrudgingly began to demonstrate the next routine. This goes on for a while and I pause to catch my breath, the monsters don't feel as tired as I do. I force myself to continue not wanting to raise suspicion. Suddenly I feel arms wrapped around my waist and I tense and squeal, turning to find Cillian behind me, I barely maintain eye contact with the handsome vampire before looking away.Ember and Lucian are demonstrating the next exercise, Ember grabs his waist and pulls backwards as hard as she can while Lucian pulls forward rather lazily.I turn to look at Cillian
It was the Saturday of my first week here, I remembered what the dragons announced on one of the assembly days, sports will be held on Saturday.I had come to observe that the dragons were the highest ranking creatures, people naturally respected them, some say they are one of the oldest creatures and naturally created while the rest were born from magic or a curse.I watched as Phoebe dolled herself up once again, a habit I had gotten used to, she would spend hours in the bathroom, scrub, shave and apply a whole load of make up.Daphne was already dressed for sports, her navy blue shorts hugged her hips revealing her thick thighs but her shirt was baggy, falling over the shorts , letting it peak out.“We're so going to be late” Daphne groaned and I pulled out my sportswear. I had just gotten out of the shower and still had my towel wrapped around me and my hair yet to dry.I held up the grey shirt in front of me. I grabbed a sports bra and pulled the shirt on, but it hooked on my neck
It has been a week since I arrived at Bridgeford high, I've tried to avoid danger best I can. Daphne gives me survival tips everyday, while Phoebe tries to make me seduce my professor.I just left the dining room after having breakfast, the halls were buzzing with people here and there. I kept walking until I heard a scream and watched as people gathered around a particular spot.I rushed to the scene, trying to push through the crowd. Due to my frame, I was pushed every which way until I somehow made it to the front and stood my ground. I pushed in a little and found two people fighting, Rapheal and another guy. Raphael is on top the guy and he lands another punch across the guy’s jaw drawing blood.“Raph stop!” Jenna cried trying to pull him off but he ignored her, drew his hand back and landed another heavy punch. This time I hear a sound like bone cracking and I'm forced to look away.“What's going on here!” The headmistress’ voice thundered and we scattered like flies, leaving R
It's darker now and I become more conscious of my environment, what if those girls came out of the shadows again?Thankfully we safely made it to the end of the halls and unto the stairs.“Thank you sir” I said with a curt nod and he stared at me, then turned to look at the top stairs before walking away, not saying anything. My eyes darted to look in his direction to find the headmistress standing on the stairs.. “All students should be at the dining hall. Are you looking to start trouble, Miss Martins?” She asked, giving me a grim look.“No…no, of course not” I fumbled my words, if there was someone I was completely scared of, it was the headmistress.“To the dining room” she commands and I run downstairs heading towards the dining.I enter the doors and look towards the line, it's very short. I quickly join up, trying to gather my thoughts.“Three feet back” a voice said in front of me and I looked up confused and saw Raphael glaring down at me.“Three feets back” he repeats lookin
I successfully made it to the second floor, the sun had already gone down and the evening breeze was cool. I stared down the hallway, a feeling of ptsd hitting me. But I knew I had to move, I already had classes here this morning, how hard could it be?I heard the clicking of a door and I froze, the hair on my skin standing.I see Mr Alister walk through the door of our classroom and he's heading straight for me. A few students are passing by, but most have retired to their rooms. My eyes meet his and he holds them, not bothering to look away. The way he stared at me, there was such a longing, if I didn't know any better, I would say it's desire. I had packed my black curly hair in a high pony tail and had Phoebe do light make up, which just consisted of powder and lip gloss, she didn't let me leave otherwise.“G…good evening sir” I greeted.“C…..Avery” he sighed and took a whiff of the air before his eyes landed back on me, the rims of his pupils glowing amber.“I wondered how long
