The HIDDENS

The HIDDENS

"I’m going to mix your shots, and you two are going to be having the Blue Blood shots!" I frowned. "What’s a Blue Blood shot?" Sophie laughed. "A Blue Blood shot is a werewolf’s biggest weakness when it comes to alcohol. Werewolf systems are different from humans! We don’t get drunk easily by consuming regular human alcohol." She smirked. "But we do have our own alcohol called the Blue Blood shot. If humans drink it, they’d probably die from alcohol poisoning after just one shot! That’s why this club is called the Blue Bloods. The shots are only given to werewolves, but humans don’t even know about it."

The Wolf And The Pure Blood

The Wolf And The Pure Blood

I said. Pure Bloods were special human beings who were born only once in a thousand years. All the Pure Bloods that have lived before have always gone missing, or found in a state where their blood was all dried out. This is because their blood contains special qualities that are of great importance to werewolves. It can instantly heal fatal injuries when consumed. Wolves live a long time, but they cannot live forever. But consuming a Pure Blood's blood can extend their lives. " You mean you are in love with a human?"

The Alien Love Series

Maybe he could ask Rhylent to slap him a second time. "Explain ink." "Ink?" Murry's brow furrowed. How did someone explain that? "Ink is a liquid we put in pens. In this case, the liquid that came out of the rocks was black and thick and..." "Like black human blood?" Rhylent asked. "The rocks were bleeding?" "Yes." Murry chuckled. Of course. The alien who wanted to kill him all the time knew about human blood. He should have started with that. "What came out of the rock was like thick black blood. Gross."

*Naska* The blood was rich. Velvety, dark, and warm against her tongue like liquid silk spun from copper and iron. It coated the inside of her mouth with the texture of melted wine—heady, sinful, spreading a flush of heat down her neck that made her skin tingle with satisfaction. Gods, nothing compared to human blood when it was this fresh, this pure. The metallic sweetness rolled across her palate in waves, each swallow more intoxicating than the last.

The Forgotten God

The Forgotten God

In the current situation it was hardly what he wanted to see but it was safer for the time being. Down below in the museum people had been panicking and everything was in disarray. It was hard to believe that earlier that morning he had been working as normal; taking phone calls looking over museum imports and now the world had turned to hell. It didn't seem possible. He'd heard of blood rain before in Kerala but it had been a simple chemical reaction between the rain and airborne spores from a locally prolific terrestrial green alga that had tinted the water red. But this was literal blood it was heavy and thick and the water levels were rising too fast to be anything natural.

The Vampire Prince And Her

The Vampire Prince And Her

Addiction is a vise clutching one’s arteries, venules, and veins, all the blood vessels. Even if they are filled with sinful cells, composed of nutrition from humans. His blood was as red as a human’s because in appearance they didn’t look different. Only he knew how black it was in levels indiscernible to the sharpest eyes, of his own kind, of vampires.

"Why?" "Too much vampire blood makes you overheat a bit." He shrugged. "It won't turn you— You're very much human, like I've said before, but sometimes the vampire blood causes a type of burn to take over in your bloodstream, not painful, just not exactly pleasant if it's a hundred degrees outside." "Good thing it's Seattle." I bit into the toast. "Yes, well, I imagine at this point, raindrops would simply turn to vapor if they landed on your skin."

The water was so clear I could see the black rocks below perfectly, the surface sparkling when the sunlight hit its surface. Red leaves from the tallest tree were sprinkled on top of the water and along the ground until I came to an end of the white path. I continued through the trees walked along the edge of the water until I saw it grow darker and redder from the leaves staining it. The red water lapped on the land below me and clung to my fur, before dripping over my paws. This redness…it wasn’t from the leaves at all. It was from blood. The more I walked, the more blood contaminated the water until it was a steady stream of the liquid itself. The stench stung at my nostrils with its shar

The Pack's Hybrids

The Pack's Hybrids

“We don’t get fresh blood here often. Even if it is werewolf, it will be better than the plastic-wrapped dead blood you feed us on.” Talen sighed heavily, playing along, knowing that Sigrid had no problems with the blood supplied but spoke simply to terrify the werewolf and make his and Tony’s job easier. “There is nothing wrong with that blood. It is kept whole and complete and studies have proven it to be of equal nutritional value to vampires as fresh from the human.” “It tastes wrong, it is never the right temperature all the way through, and it doesn’t moan as you drink from it,” she replied and winked at him as she left.

If you're looking for a story about an incel that gets their just desserts, this is the book for you! I haven't read a book in this series yet that doesn't deliver an emotional punch in the worst and best ways.
Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

Cursed Luna

Cursed Luna

I smelled something metallic in the cup. I was about to grab the cup, “No,” she interrupted. “Why?” She said, “You may have it after you eat.” I snorted, “And why would I do that?” “Be responsible, discipline yourself.” I could not argue for more and started eating. She was too busy doing her thing in her kitchen, mixing things, brewing, and making strange things. I did have the blood after I ate. “This blood is different. What is this?” “Human blood.” She was too focused on doing her thing, this blood was lighter compare to werewolf blood which was darker. Its taste was indeed addicting. Yet Zild’s blood was still better.
