She felt stupid for saying such nonsense. "You don't believe it, do you? I don't believe it either," she said with a wry smile. But then, she was surprised by the sudden answer that Anwen gave. "I do believe it." "Huh?" Odette's mouth opened slightly. "You... believe it?" "Um." Anwen nodded. "Miss Ody, if you want to return to the future, there are two ways to do it." Anwen's response was beyond Odette's expectation.

he whispers to himself, looking away from me to have a silent freak-out, "That's why your mom wants to use you to gamble? And why you're so sure I won't die young. You don't just 'know' it, but you see it?" "Yes," I finally respond, sighing. There’s no point in lying or deflecting, "I can see the future... I can see multiple futures, to be honest. The most probable ones are very clear, but there's millions of options. A few things are destined to happen, but nothing is ever for certain, so the same thing could happen in a lot of different ways. Say... someone has to die, there's a million different ways for it to happen, but if it's something that big, it will happen even if I tried to stop

Meilin screamed his name, lunging forward, but the golden barrier was absolute. "But first," Leo added, his voice echoing with a new, terrifying authority. "I want to see the 'End.' Show me the version of the world where I leave. Show me that they're happy." The Vision of the Void The central Architect waved a hand, and a final rift opened—a window into the future he was buying. Leo looked through. He expected to see the Techno-Forests blooming and the cities of the Mosaic-World thriving in peace. Instead, he saw Nothing.

“Yes. This looks a lot like the future.” “The future?” “Yes. Where I'm from. I'm from the future, and I miss it so much. Iphones, cameras, sweet junkies, beautiful buildings, flashy clothes, movies, popcorn!... There are just so many things I miss from the future. Who knows? Luna is probably enjoying the future, and experimenting with the different technology we have there.” “I don't understand.”

Rose grabbed Ethan's hand. Don't choose. Ethan looked at her. What? The future isn't fixed. Rose closed her eyes. I can see it. Then tell me what to do. She opened her eyes. None of the three futures are real. Everyone froze. Her grandfather frowned. What did you say? Rose looked at the machine. Those aren't futures. They're possibilities. Ethan suddenly understood. The machine wasn't predicting the future. It was manipulating their memories to make them believe those futures were inevitable.

Phoenix continued, "we become exactly what Director Okonkwo wants us to be. Obedient. Controlled. Empty. We survive, but we're not really alive." "There must be another way," Ivy said desperately. "There is," Phoenix said. "I've seen it. One future where the four of us are raised together, with both our parents, learning to use our powers through love instead of fear. In that future, we bring peace. Real peace. Unity between packs that has never existed before." "One future out of hundreds," Nadia scoffed. "Those are terrible odds." "They're the only odds worth taking," Dominic said. "Because in that future, our children actually get to be children. They get to choose their own paths."

I looked down at the crystal in my hand, still pulsing green, and saw the future. "My lord," I said. "There is a way after all." ***

He holed up at home, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. Jacob supported me as we stood there, his gaze at Timothy cold and unyielding. Timothy's eyes then fell on my slightly rounded belly, shock evident in his expression. "Lena, you..." I nodded slightly, keeping my tone composed. "Hello, Mr. Lewis." The formality of calling him "Mr. Lewis" put an end to any connection between us. He shook his head smiling bitterly. He knew that we could never go back to how things were. - Christopher's life ended quickly. He was buried in the same cemetery as Mia. When I visited Mia's grave, I saw Timothy again.

People travel from one planet to another planet, one galaxy to another galaxy for vacation, marriage ceremonies, birthdays etc. Each spaceport has upto 300 rockets and space shuttles. All the cars are now aircars. People do not need aeroplanes and trains anymore. They are just kept as models in the museum to help the upcoming generations to see these 'vintage' machines.
