I leaned in, resting my forehead against his. “I’m not going anywhere. Not now, not ever.”
He closed his eyes, the tension in his body easing for the first time in what felt like forever. “Maybe... maybe we can start to heal. Together.”
I smiled, warmth flooding my chest. “Together.”
