I could say that he's special in his own way. Summer is developing each and every day. Us parents are also too. Having Summer in our lives has taught us so many things that life did not show when we were young. We often just cared for ourselves and not others but being a parent we have to protect our family and be always there for them no matter what.

“Alexis, we have to get back to the kids.” The only thing that we both value over everything is the kids. Summer is right, we have to get back. Summer suggests that we bring the kids to meet our mate. That worries me. What if he rejects me because we have pups? What if he rejects them for not being his? “If he loves us, he won’t. In fact, if he doesn’t love the kids, would we want him?” Summer tells me. “If I am honest, no. We are a package. It’s all of us or none of us.” I responded, agreeing with her.

"The pay is supposedly the best in town, and they even issue internship completion certificates." As soon as she finished speaking, all eyes turned to me. Bethany continued, "Prime Works Factory is your family's, right? You'll figure out how to get us in. Once summer break starts, we're heading there. Also, get us cushy positions. You know, the kind where we sit in air-conditioned offices and drink coffee all day." She was the leader of the group. As she spoke, she lifted my chin with the tip of her shoe. Her red lips curled into a sneer, and her gaze pierced through me, as if I was nothing more than a speck of dust.

She's the 'mom' of the group and I couldn't be more proud of a person as I am of Kenna. “Loosen up Kenna, you need to live life and have fun,” I said as I smiled at her and turned the music up more. Kenna started singing with me and soon we were singing together on the top of our lungs to Irreplaceable by Beyoncé, Kenna her favourite song. “I can't believe the second year already started, I'm so excited!” Kenna said to me while we drove closer to school. “Kenna, stop. Can I stay a little bit longer in my fantasy where summer holiday is endlessly long and I don't have any responsibilities or homework.” I groan as I took in the surroundings. It was still summer and everything was bright green

“Because we are together. No matter where – at home or by the sea. As long as we are together, it is perfect.” The family was back. Everyday she had it again. But the warmth of the summer and the memory of the common holiday remained in their hearts. And the golden years continued – chapters for chapters.

Then, came the clink of glasses. “I heard you haven’t touched Summer in seven years. Why are you holding out on a beauty like that?” “Are you crazy? Everyone in our circle knows that John only sleeps with virgins. No matter how pretty Summer is, she’s been tainted by someone else. How could she compare to you? At least you are innocent.” Anna let out a shy, coquettish protest. A chill ran through my entire body. Even my hands began to tremble. It felt as though I had been dragged back to the darkest moment of my life, the memory I tried hardest never to think about.

But here’s the thing about summer—it never really lasts, does it? The parties thinned out, and the laughter came in smaller bursts. Suddenly, everyone was talking about plans: college, jobs, maybe even moving to the city. The magic of Mahdfel started to fade, slipping away before Autumn could hold on tight enough.

LUCAS POV Two months later Hundreds of caps flew in the air as we finally graduated. Everyone was estatic. Olivia came crashing into me as I lifted her up with a chuckle ..... "I can't wait for tomorrow" she says. Yup finally I'll be becoming alpha and my two best friends Raphael and Nathan are going gonna be my beta's and I pray to the moon goddess I feel my spark with Olivia tomorrow, she has been so worried about it and I've been trying to calm her down but I'll be lying if I said it didn't scare the hell out of me.
