The First Mate

The First Mate

I heard Theo chuckle back, seeing Rose walking ahead of me with determination in her step as we made our way from the housing ward to medical. Her fiery copper hair bounced with each step, loose and wild waves rippling down her slender back nearly to her full hips, the ashen streak pushed back with a headband she pulled on when we'd come back down to the Bunker after the Triad had left to put out the fires and evacuate the Pack. She'd made me wait in the Portal room, disappearing behind one of the doors before I could stop her. There were three Burhounds she'd wrangled to build the place, all of them had been working for five days now, they weren't meant to be done for another six.

Dragon: My Wish As A Dragon

Dragon: My Wish As A Dragon

Anyone who sees that dreadful face has three days of constant nightmares, then dies. Riche - Uh... So which is it, really? Man - Well, nobody knows. Never in the history of the country has someone gone inside the Burrow. Guy - The entrance is at the top of a steep cliff. No way for heavily-armed Knights to climb up there. Gurigura - Couldn't a Ranger do it? Guy - If you try to climb up there, you don't have any hands free. You'd just end up prey for flying monsters. Issei - So you can't even reach the Burrow?

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

Wilbur replied with a smile. The pair left with their bodyguards with their heads held high, swaggering away. Wilbur shook his head and mumbled to himself, "I'm looking forward to your wedding, too." With that, he drove back to the house at Castlebury. After parking his car at the entrance, he cast a glance around the area and decided that he should look around and familiarize himself with the complex. The neighborhood was pretty big with a central garden. The garden alone was around thirty acres, almost the size of a public park.

A Gift from the Goddess

A Gift from the Goddess

Something like. ‘*“…They’re inside a secret crypt,”*’ she’d said to me that day with Kieran. ‘*“Buried deep below the former Winter Mist packhouse, in a place that outsiders would not find. Not even those who swarmed our land during a war.”*’ Great, so not only did I need to make it all the way down there, but it also sounded like I had to solve a puzzle too. Thea was in some sort of secret compartment where no one had previously searched.

I just finished reading this story, and I have to say: I am speechless. This is the first story on this app that has completely captivated me. Finally, there are fresh, new plot elements—instead of the usual clichés you read on this app time and time again.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

"Don't go to the main entrance. Take us to the underground garage. Seal the gate behind us." "Copy that." The car plunged into the darkness of the garage ramp. The black sedan stopped at the top, hovering for a moment like a shark at the surface, before peeling away into the night. Aurora let out a breath. But her hand stayed on her stomach. The foundation was built. The money was pledged. The family was united. But the wolves were still hungry. And now, they knew where the rabbits lived.

ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON

ALPHA’s HEART MY PRISON

At that moment, Zoe approached me and said, "I don't feel Rose anywhere. Is Lucy wrong?" "No, she looked very firm. Maybe the smell was hidden? There are a lot of buildings here, after all. Restaurants, shops, residential buildings... maybe that's why we don't feel it." While I was talking, my eyes fell on the nearby stores. “Since the middle ages, wizards have used spells to hide their residences to avoid being discovered and killed by other races. Bennet may have used the same method to hide his house between shops and restaurants. Even if Rose is really there, she is nowhere to be found from the outside," Zoe explained darkly.

Jilted Heiress Strikes Back

Jilted Heiress Strikes Back

Gale’s face flushed a bit, then he stretched out his little arms and hugged her tightly, burying his head in her chest. Leif had already gotten out of the car, grabbed the luggage, and with one hand pulling it along, said, “Please, come inside.” Raina, still awkwardly holding Gale, followed him through the gates of Wexford Lane. Wexford Lane was a famous mansion in the capital, but most people had only heard of it and never actually been inside. But as soon as she entered, Raina didn’t see luxurious decor or fancy furnishings—instead, she saw a dozen or so colorful chickens pecking leisurely at the greens in the yard, completely unafraid of people, not even moving away.
