Ginny took the tea pot and was pouring some tea into the cup. She moved her hand and it burn the girls' hand. She dropped the cup. It fell and broke. The girl screamed and took off the cucumber on her face. She sprung up and slapped Ginny hard on the face. "How dare you? How did you become a Croydon maid when you're so clumsy?!" She yelled.

She was certain the person she invited wasn't Sharon, but Ginny, an upperclassman from Bell University. Ginny was a renowned pianist and one of the stars of Bell University's Hall of Fame. A native of Zachemaine, she was known for both her talent and her grace. Since they were alumni from the same school, it had been easy to strike up a connection. Of course, under normal circumstances, without Carter's help, she wouldn't have stood a chance of inviting a pianist of Ginny's stature, alumni or not. Dorian asks as we wait for the elevator. “I would love a water,” I say and turn to Ginny. “Is it too early for whiskey?” Ginny laughs at her own joke but we don’t. “Just a water please.” Dorian nods and we get on the elevator. In the room I shake Mr. Sterling’s hand. Ginny smiles and sits next to him. She has her blouse open a button too far and her legs are on full display. “Mr. Sterling,” Ginny gives him the same flirtatious voice she tries on me. “Mr. Laine as put together a great proposal. I think you will be very impressed.”

Gin?” “It’s Ginny,” I bit out through my teeth. “And yes, he gets paid to follow me around and he’ll do it.” “I see.” She moved up close and whispered so that only the two of us would hear but it was useless since Leo and Noah are both wolves and could easily hear anything she has to say. “Just because you’ve been adopted into wealth doesn’t make you one of us.
