The room buzzed with whispers, the Pack members growing restless as realization spread among them. Visaris' voice cut through the tension, low and resolute. “Kai Kalos, the evidence is irrefutable. You stand guilty of the murder of Aspen Ripley.” He paused, his tone hardening as his green eyes pierced through Kai. “By the authority vested in me as the Lycan King, I hereby sentence you to death.” The courtroom erupted into chaos—gasps, murmurs, and shouts all mingling into a cacophony of disbelief and shock. Kai collapsed to his knees, trembling violently. Tears streamed down his face as he cried out, his voice thick with desperation.

Jean said in an angry voice. “It means you already decided me as a killer and now you are trying to fit the consequences and the evidence in me. And I won't let you do that. If needed I'll find that Dr. Killer myself and then prove how wrong you all are.” after saying that Jackson anxiously stood up from the chair and stomped out from the room.

When she calmed herself, she sighed, becoming sad again, then she raised the knife that flashed in the light, “this is for everyone you have ever caused pain. Let us start with me.” And in one smooth motion, she slit his throat. Blood sprayed across his chest. He tried to speak, but only gurgling sounds escaped his mouth. Karma climbed on the bed and stood over his head, placing her Christian Louboutin heels over his mouth, and with one forceful push down, she matched firmly on the ball in his mouth, causing it to enter his throat. The last thing Marcus saw was his daughter wiping the blade on his shirt, her cold, empty expression never changing.

My voice surprised me, it was different; much lighter, and high-pitched. I looked at the man once more. I squinted my eyes in the process and then it clicked. I knew him. My lips quivered and I let out a shaky breath. I couldn’t believe what was happening. The man in the room with me was actually the one that sliced my throat open. He was the one that had killed me. It was all coming back to me. “You’re one of them,” My voice was shaky. “You’re one of the rogue werewolves.”
