RENAISSANCE WEREWOLF

RENAISSANCE WEREWOLF

--- Chloe was talking non-stop as she drove Katie Clyde to campus, Katie Clyde was silent, and wasn't responding as she ought to. Chloe nudged her roughly and yelled "Katie!" Katie Clyde winced in pain and pursed her lips "what?" Chloe sneered "serves you right, why ain't you responding to me? didn't you hear what I was saying" Katie Clyde sighed heavily "Chloe, what if werewolves and vampires are real? what if they live among us? what if they are one of those people we see each day?" Chloe looked at Katie Clyde strangely "Katie, have you been watching too many movies, recently?" she reposted.

Wolfsbane - Finding The Wolf Within

Wolfsbane - Finding The Wolf Within

He barked out a laugh, “No, it’s just the three main factions, Werewolves, Witches, and Vampires.” Somewhere along the conversation, they had started walking again and now stepped into an open foyer where large portraits hung from the walls. “This shit just keeps getting weirder and weirder, Like I’ve been sucked into a bad fantasy romance novel.” “What’s so wrong about a bad fantasy romance novel? I thought you girls ate those things up like candy,”

Lycan’s Mate (his claim)

Lycan’s Mate (his claim)

This guy was going to make me go insane before graduation. I peered through the aisles, reading each genre that hung above them. As I passed the comedy section, I couldn't help but stop on my tracks as I caught sight of some titles that seemed to be out of place. I walked towards them, tilting my head to get a better look. A smirk escaped my lips as they all coincidentally seemed to be about werewolves. I had to admit, the stories that kept being published were starting to be idiotic, but even I, who wasn't a fan of them, knew that they didn't belong here. Oh well, the librarian will catch it sooner or later.

This book has a great story line. Lots of mystery to keep your interest and twist and turns to make you read more. I love the main character strong female personality even though indecisive at times. There are errors and the transitions could be better but a good read overall. You will get better!

Worth reading. Has enough action to not be boring nor overwhelming. Great plot twists. FYI: several reviews mention some problems with language/syntax. An author’s note said it costs money to go back and edit. Look, MY English ain’t perfect, but I can understand enough of the story to enjoy it.

Mr Fiction

Mr Fiction

What if it is not something I am prepared for? I brush those fears aside and press Enter. I sag on my couch. “Of course, it’s just a silly romance movie,” I read the article about the 2014 movie about a man who bets the owner of a bookstore that she will lose interest in her new beau after one month. It is cliché. I don’t need to watch the movie to know that the man will end up with the bookstore owner.

Cursed Alpha's Runaway Mate

Cursed Alpha's Runaway Mate

Or Maybe it has something to do with the voice, the strange, incongruous, and out-of-the-way whispers telling the untold stories, the internal and confidential thoughts revealing themselves to me as if I had the powers to read the minds of the people around me. No. I didn't have any such powers. That's an undoubted gospel, no humans on this planet were sent with supernatural powers such as reading the mind of people, flying on the broom in the middle of the night, and howling to the full moon after shape-lifting their characters. These are the unbelievable, untruthful verities popularized by some of the fiction writers by introducing unreal events, human beings, and unusual, odd lifestyles t

Frequently Asked Questions

Weird fiction is this glorious, unsettling rabbit hole where reality bends until you question everything. If you're diving in, start with Lovecraft—obvious, but 'The Call of Cthulhu' is a rite of passage. The way he builds dread through cosmic insignificance still gives me chills. Then, jump to Jeff VanderMeer's 'Annihilation'. It’s like if a biologist wrote a horror novel; the creeping unease of Area X lingers for weeks.

For something more lyrical, try China Miéville's 'Perdido Street Station'. It’s steampunk-meets-body-horror with sentient cactus people and moth-winged artists. And don’t skip Kathe Koja’s 'The Cipher'—claustrophobic and raw, like a garage-band punk album in book form. Weird fiction thrives on discomfort, and these? Masterclasses.
