CHAPTER 4 ANGIE’s POV Mark’s father returned to the room pushing a wheelchair. He was clearly serious about his promise to drive me home himself. I watched in silence as he unfolded the wheelchair. I realized he intended to use it so he wouldn't have any trouble moving me downstairs. Once the wheelchair was ready, he stepped toward me. His face came so close to mine that I couldn't help but feel incredibly awkward. "W-what are you doing?" I asked, my voice trembling with nerves.

As I read the first paragraph, I hissed and dropped the phone back on the bed, "So they do like someone sexually?" I asked. "This is not good at all if he went to this extent to get my number from his dad. Aiden needs to be killed so badly." I stamped my feet on the ground and clipped my bra.

Why would every member of her family hate her and even go ahead and chain her like a slave? Shit!! When I walked into the sitting room, Dad was standing at the top of the last staircase, his gaze fixed on me. "Dad, I'm back..." I smiled but got no smiles in return. "Daddy, what is it?" Jason!!" He sighed, "But she probably wouldn't understand half of what was in it." Not sure what to say, I simply shrugged. Dad looked down at me silently for a moment. His blue eyes were wide and he seemed as if he were excited. He was standing directly in front of me and while I waited from him to continue, my eyes wandered down his broad chest and flat stomach. Kiara's POV "Dads never approve of the fun stuff." Ivy rolled her eyes. "Speaking of which, my dad's supposed to stop by again soon. He wanted to make sure I was settling in okay. Typical overprotective parent nonsense." My stomach tightened slightly. "Your dad sounds involved." "Oh, he's the worst." But Ivy's tone was fond. I couldn't help but wonder why they couldn't just eat in peace. Even though his father appeared to be strict, it was obvious how much he cared for his son. Accalia shared with me that the reason he was so strict with him was so that he could only rely on himself. I could empathize with his dad because my had been in his shoes before.
