Jossie's POV: There is a beer produced by werewolves called, 'Wolfweiser.' It's brewed and spiked with wolfsbane. It's about the only beer wolves prefer. Because, its effects on us are stronger than the average beer. The cans are purple with the logo in bold gold. There is a wolf howling towards the moon on it. Wolfweiser is used at large backyard parties. There are a few knock-off brands but nothing beats drinking a Wolfweiser. Before I left Nathalie's apartment she gave me a can. "Don't come into work today. Just stay home and try to relax," she insisted. "Drink one of these if you feel like you're about to shift and give me a call."

My palm flew to my lips, trying to stop myself from barfing out my dinner. “No, that thing smelled and tastes horrible!” I complained. I have never been the type to complain about food. Sure, I was never a big fan of teas but I didn’t remember hating it this much. I just could not stomach it. “But this tea is good for you, especially for your condition…” “Condition?” I echoed, confused. Condition of what? Her smile instantly faded, a hint of panic coloring her face as if she just said something she should not have. “Well, uhh… this is a very special tea. Alpha Mason strictly ordered that you drink it,” she said while averted her gaze.

She wasn't used to people giving her endearment. "Teqs," He called out smirking at her scowling face. "What? Teqs?!" George arched his brows in confusion. "Yes. It's actually tequila. Do you have a problem with that?" He arched his brows quizzical. Sarah flipped her indexes at the crook of his neck making him wince. "Ouch! What did i do this time?" "Watch your tone, you peas." she admonished. George cracked up laughing as he shook his head at her while Yara smiled, "your best friend is cool.”

instead of explaining these stupid things to me she started chuckling and looked at me with that stupid smile. "I can't believe that you are calling that awesome feeling of 'love' weird... you seriously are a weirdo," she teased me, and I couldn't help but smile at the name... {I don't know how I can't make myself not like anything that Gramma does or says} ...

The young man is scarier than his mother. The doctor quickly took the wrapper from the girl’s hand and was surprised to read its label. Such tea is rare and not easily sold. It is also forbidden for people who have depression or those who experience anxiety to drink it. When Tristan confirmed that what Patricia used was harmful to his mother, he angrily punched her in the face and stomach.

The place is already set, and as we enter there, the scent of fresh bread greets me, along with the scent of eggs and brewed tea that makes my stomach growl inside me. I settle at a table with Sarah and Elian. Our assigned table of course. A server pours tea into my cup, the steam curling lazily upwards. Cocoa. The scent is lovely. I lift the cup towards my lips… and stop. There’s something wrong with this tea. The steam has a second strange scent. Like a parasite leeching off the real scent of the Cocoa. Poison. The scent is faint and I almost didn't catch it, but my powers did.

I get distracted by the pot whistling, quickly get out of my chair, move the pot, and turn the stove off before it wakes Eli. By the time I’ve gotten the mugs out, she’s returned and drops some tea bags I’ve never seen or smelt before into the mugs, pouring water before I can question her about them. “Drink then I’ll show you.” She says, and so I did. It’s not like I have anything better to do. After a few sips, she hands me something weird because it was all rolled up, old, delicate, and a little dusty.

I narrowed my eyes as the female left. “You don’t think I can handle it,” I asked, questioning. “No offense but a hybrid such as yourself hyped up on tequila and straight sugar is a bad idea,” she said, making flying gestures with her hands. I cocked my head to the side. “What’s tek E la,” I asked, again annoyed that I didn’t understand. “It’s an alcoholic drink, it makes you relax and mellow out,” she explained. A drug? That they serve people so casually? What is this place?

I snap and Inari. "I don't trust him. Somethings up, I just can't figure out what yet." Inari glared from my eyes at Tate and Karen. She was keeping her guard up. Tate put a mug down in front of me, and I took a sip. It was my favorite rose, chrysanthemum, and fennel tea with honey. "How was the heir ceremony?" Tate askes with a smile. I take a few more sips of my tea and start to tell him all about the ceremony and how we almost didn't have enough food. As I'm gleefully recounting the past few days' events, I start to feel dizzy. "Inari, what's going on?"

Nicole thought that most people would agree with Jared. But she was different. Jared was already used to her uniqueness, so he did not mind. He then poured her a warm special beverage. Nicole took a sip of it. 'It tastes woody.' Jared swirled his drink as well. "This is a tea that is specially brewed to warm you up. It has a unique aromatic scent to it, but it's actually brewed with herbs." Nicole arched her brows as she was familiar with herbs. 'Turning herbs into drinks... What an interesting idea.'
