“I know that Venus, Jupiter, Mercury and Jove aren’t regular wolves. Athena, Hera, Zeus, Oden. Do you think we didn’t pay attention in school?“ I ask. The goddess playfully narrows her eyes. “Athena and Zeus were chosen by their parents.” “Hades and Persephone?” We both raise our eyebrows. “You think we are that stupid?” “Venus can’t raise you alone,” she tells me. “Yeah maybe not, but Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Hera, and Oden can,” I tell her. “None have a say in my realm,” she tells me. “I find that hard to believe,” I tell her.

Cordelia smirks, "Have you not heard of the birds and the bees? Really, Alexi, in your condition I would have thought you knew." Alexi looked at Nicolas, and he did not notice Alexi's grandmother's slip of the tongue. Alexi felt relieved. "Grandmother, I mean how did it work out you were her half-sister?" Cordelia was now giving history lessons. "Selene is the daughter of Hyperion and Theia. Hyperion was a Titan God and, well, sometimes he slummed it on earth. He slept with my mother, who was a beautiful Werewolf Princess and the heir to the crown. That is when I was created and was born, so Hyperion is your great grandfather. A lot of good that will do anyone, as he tries not to make his wi

"Mommy, daddy, when will I have a baby sister and a baby brother?" Astraea asked casually. She and Zeus looked at each other because of Astraea's asking about having a "sibling". If only her daughter knew how complicated their situation was. Zeus grinned and kissed their daughter on the temple. They were twins because they were made in the same womb and born on the same day to the same mother. What made them special was that Castor was the mortal king and Pollux was the divine son of the one true God. Zeus.

Hera said, looking toward where Eirene and Lysander were walking hand in hand through the meadow, stopping to inspect the new flower beds Alexious had planted.
