Just when he thought that he was losing all hope of finding the rogues, he saw two werewolves who were fully in their wolf forms, pawing at a helpless woman who seemed to be dead. "Catch them!" He was cradling his hand, blood seeping between his fingers. “That mangy little beast attacked me!” the werewolf was shouting. “I didn’t even do anything!” “He was just protecting me!” the woman yelled back. “Your kind has been giving us dirty looks since we arrived!”

Reading about the war was one thing but watching it was sickening. “How could they have done this? Just to rule?” I asked, voice quivering. “Yes.” The keeper said “But not all werewolves agreed to this. Some even had mates who were human.” The scene changed again and it showed a young man and woman standing in the meadow. The man had jet black hair and grey eyes which had gold swirling in them. The woman's hair was silver and shone under the moonlight. Her eyes were filled with tears, love and determination whilst his eyes were filled with love and protectiveness. Their hands were intertwined.

It's eyes were deep and dark and a scar ran from it's eyebrow to the corner of its eyes. The girl's breathing came rapidly as her heart beat fearfully hard inside her chest. The werewolf stopped moving suddenly, raised it's head up and opened it's mouth wide as if about to yawn. It's two great teeth shone through its mouth making the girl gasp. The werewolf let out a loud howl that shook the earth to the grasses on the field. In a burst of panic, the girl crawled hurriedly away from the werewolf but she didn't get far before the werewolf leaped on her and sank its teeth into her thigh. The girl let out a scream that cut through the night.

Jake caught it mid-air— —and froze. White fire ran under Jane’s skin. Light burst from her wounds as white fur rolled across her body. She rose, an ethereal werewolf, eyes like dawn over ice. You are awake”, the woman said and placed a tray on her laps. “Here I brought some food for you and your daughter.” Tory looked deeply at the woman and she noticed something familiar. Then it clicked. “You are a werewolf”, Tory said. The woman looked at her and nodded. “Yes, I am.” Tory sighed in relief. So there is someone of her kind in this place. “Eat, dear. So you will have strength.” Tory nodded and her stomach grumbled as if on cue. The older woman chuckled and sat down to watch Tory eat.
