Lauren slowly walked to the cage and crouched before it. The animal had lustrous black fur and glowing green eyes. It was enormous–almost twice as big as some of the dogs in the neighbouring cages. It whimpered as it set Its eyes on Lauren and raised a paw, as though in recognition. It wasn't a dog, or even a wolf. It was a werewolf. Lauren stared in awe as the werewolf blinked it's beautiful green eyes and looked at her sadly. "Hello," she whispered. "How did you get here?"

Coldly. I saw my entire life with her in the blink of an eye with details more vivid than any dream I could have before. Because of it, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that the clumsy woman looking at me with doe eyes and nervous teeth biting her bottom lip into submission that I’d endure everything I saw with her ten times over for just a moment of the love I knew we’d have. Even if it would take us a bit to get there, I knew it would be worth it in the end. For now, she’d have to be the werewolf’s assistant.

Larissa is such a beautiful name. Moments later, the biggest wolf I’ve ever seen came bounding over. His fur was black as twilight, yet its tail and paws were white. A sapphire crescent moon shines between its luminous green orbs. Most wolves have gold eyes. Titan is privileged to have Dante’s memorizing emerald eyes. He makes me get so weak in the knees. I can’t help but nibble my bottom lip as my panties grow damp. Damn these teenage hormones of mine. “Titan?” I question as I reach up to scratch behind his ears.

I wrinkled my forehead, stunned. “A werewolf's eyes change shades when you take an honest life,” he introduces, as if it's a mantra, then, at that moment, he turns to me and his eyes glow a bright icy yellow. Do you suppose they are blue? It was justifiably so. For you and me, he calmly affirms. "Or on the other hand, maybe you don't regret how you treated him," object without hesitation. One cannot say that one life is less honest than another. Imagine a scenario where they turn blue as you feel regretful.

“I need to know if any left suddenly after that night, who disappeared, who was new. If I find that maid, I can find who pushed her…who pushed me.” “I’ll look into it,” he promised. “Quietly.” I nodded. I felt a tiny bit of the weight lift from my chest. Then another memory flashed—green eyes glowing in the dark. “Dimitri,” I said slowly, “is it normal to have green glowing eyes in this world? Like… glowing glowing eyes?” He looked at me in confusion. “Our eyes do shine in the dark when we shift into our wolf form, but not as humans. Why? What happened?”

This scream was much higher, and his body filled with fear. He ran toward the sound and couldn’t believe his eyes when Lola transformed right in front of him. His throat went dry when he looked at the massive red wolf whose ember eyes seemed to stare right into his soul. At that moment he knew where he had seen those eyes before, it flashed right before his eyes: the image of him pushing the Fire Wolf baby into the river.

The guy glared and i nodded in acceptance. He nodded at the guy who had the gun on me and it was gone in a second. Continuing and feeling more nervous than before, my throat constricted as i felt something else, something solid. Please be it.. please be it.. please…. Closing my eyes i pulled it out and wolf took his first full inhale. Putting the tiny looking bullet into the tray Jane held, i exhaled and so did everyone else in the room. The wolf opened his eyes slowly as it stared at me, my entire body went to a halt. The wolf had a bright green eye color. Exactly like mine and in all my years of living, I had not seen another with that same eye color.

Lewis moved slightly and Quin’s eyes snapped open. Lewis gasped when he saw Quin’s red orbs and sat up. Quin smiled at him then his eyes blinked and they returned to the emerald ones he knew. “Wh, what was that?” Lewis asked as he backed away from Quin. “What was what?” Quin asked him. “Your eyes were red then they turned green,” Lewis said. He almost fell off the bed but Quin caught him just in time. Quin placed him back on the bed beside him and held him down firmly, “That was my wolf Mortas, he is my werewolf.”

What has gotten into him? Suddenly, I see two wolves approach me from the back, flanking me. Looking at them and smelling them, I immediately recognize them both as the twin brother and sister who are hosting this party. They are both growling at the white beast, coming to my defense as their Alpha. As they should. Upon seeing the two wolves, the beast in front of me flashes its eyes from a raging fire to green, like it is wanting to communicate to the two wolves beside me.
