Standing outside was a tall, dark-haired man with piercing green eyes. He wore a long black coat and carried a sword at his side. "Who are you?" Dura demanded, stepping forward. The man bowed slightly. "My name is Damien. I am a werewolf, and I have come to offer my assistance." The rebels were skeptical, but they had no other options. They allowed Damien to enter the cabin, and he immediately went to the table where the demigods lay.

The alpha king glared at him. " You dare stand before me and speak of my death. Do you know what this place is? This was where I killed the old lady. Sophia witnessed it and ran. This place was where you had your first meeting to dethrone me. " He paused and smiled. " And this is where I will start clipping your wings. I let you fly too high. " " What?" Ruckus smiled. " Try and see." " Do you know how strong a werewolf can become after killing?" The alpha king released his claws and started walking to the oak tree.

The feeling they were more than they appeared would not leave her. She picked up the romance she’d been reading. Funny, how she loved stories where two sexy men fell in love with the woman. She didn’t even have one. She stared at the cover for a moment, at the wolf standing beside a woman with his amber eyes glowing, and thought of her two wolves. Yawning, she set the book aside. It had been a very long day. Dreams were about all the excitement she could handle tonight.

For the first time today, I feel a genuine smile bloom on my face when I realize that Roman didn’t even seem to notice anyone else that was in the building. Sure, he does the dude nod thing to some of the young men praying for his attention, but when he sees the women who would happily take my place on his arm, he either leans over to kiss the side of my head or pulls me closer. Only when I’d hauled Kaelen into an empty corridor did I finally stop, gasping for breath. “Miss Elara, grabbing a man’s hand the moment you meet him might be a bit forward.” That was when I realized I was still holding onto him for dear life. “Sorry!
