A werewolf armed with a firearm stepped forward, his stance defensive. I climbed out of the vehicle, my voice steady and commanding. “I am Alpha Jack. A few days ago, I sent word to your Alpha that the Blue Lagoon Pack would be sending reinforcements to support your alliance.” The werewolf hesitated before fully stepping into the moonlight, revealing his battered form. One of his pant legs hung empty, and he leaned heavily on a cane while gripping his weapon with the other hand. His face was partially wrapped in gauze, while the exposed side was streaked with dried blood.

Warwick snorted in dissatisfaction and finally saw Marsh when he looked up again. "Alpha Marsh, over here!" Warwick shouted loudly. Marsh, who had just walked out of the exit, glanced in his direction and then walked over. Marsh was also a werewolf, but at the moment, his aura was a bit chaotic, obviously injured and in a bad mood. As the loud clank echoed from the falling scythe, Starvos picked them up in a languid movement. “You! You are not a simple werewolf!” She shouted, trying to remove herself from him but his tight hold was too strong for her to break away from. She screamed again, “No one told me about this! No one said that you are one of them! Hands off! Hands off me!!”

Her Dad and the rest was fuzzy. “Dude, what the…” a male voice was saying from the living room, when a sound that seemed like a punch, shut him up. In one swift motion, she was up. She looked at her dressing. She was still in her skinny jeans and leather jacket. The one she wore when she returned the previous day. Werewolves were blessed with super hearing, super speed, fast healing. In another swift motion, she was at the door of her living room. The room was a mess. Broken furnitures, broken glasses, splatters of blood. Some fractures of woods sticking out from the wall.

Now curious as to why he was looking at it, I slowly turned to the large frame handing on the wall by a suit of armour.
