Maybe she could ask Zoran if she could spend a couple of hours here every day. Walking down the isles, she noticed all kinds of books. Some on witchcraft, others on vampires, elves, unicorns, dragons.. everything she’s ever read a fantasy book about, there was plenty of information on it. Just as she was going back to the first floor to wait on Zoran, she saw it. The werewolf section. She couldn’t control herself. She had already glanced at all the other books but those. Slowly, she made her way over, looking at all the titles and covers. Finally, she found what she was looking for. Reaching up, her fingertips grazed the spine as a hand grabbed her wrist.

From what I hear, they seem to value it very highly. When he finally stops, I also stop at a particularly thick book called Werewolves, Spires, and Shifters: Complete Edition. On the front is a picture of a menacing werewolf ready to devour a human and a human fighting a truly horrible Shifter with a strange spear. I pull it off the rest, hiding it behind me.

The war had already gone on for over twenty-four hours and they were all exhausted from the fighting. More wolves soon launch at them and they each take on as much as they can. Maybe he wouldn’t be friends with Nico now. Knowing of his friend’s awkward situation, that last thought, for him, was much more sad than learning about slavery.
