He turns to Rakim and Miles. “You both know how old magic works. No one can be made a werewolf. You’re either born one, or you’re not.”
“The ability to mark someone was always thought to be a myth—until you came around,” he adds, nodding at me. “And if one part of the myth is real, I fear the rest is too.”
