Novel & Cerita What An Omega

I asked her, watching her body language. Her eyes seemed to dart in every direction, before she managed to raise them and hold my gaze. “It almost killed me," she whispered, barely audible. Obviously, yes, but her strength made me consider the potential Ethan talked about the other day. The Omegas are wolves; just like us, but they have been used for menial and domestic labour so much that I fear they lack the skills to protect themselves. I watched the nobles celebrating for a while, some drunken lechers trying to touch the female Omegas.

I replied quietly. ‎She blinked in surprise. ‎ ‎“It’s rare for an Omega to survive alone outside a pack,” I continued. “Most of the wolves here are Betas like me.” ‎ ‎A few of the wolves around us lifted their chins proudly as we passed. ‎ ‎“But don’t mistake that,” I added firmly. “Being a Beta doesn’t make us weak. Rogues survive because we’re strong, stronger than most pack wolves.” ‎Seraphina nodded slowly as we walked deeper into the settlement.

The day was supposed to be the happiest day of her life turned into a worst one for her when she shifted into a beautiful wolf yet the power radiating from it screamed one thing. Omega. She was an omega, a weak wolf. Her whole family turned against her the very day, they all were of higher ranks, her father was an alpha while her mother a beta and it was expected from both siblings to turn into either an alpha or beta but after she shifted as an omega, all the love and attention from her parents turned void.

"Her research into wolf-spirit gene sequencing is nothing short of revolutionary. It will change the very fabric of our society. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Dr. Cora Blackwood!" The conference hall at the Valeriana Global Werewolf Summit erupted in applause. I stood at the podium, looking out at the thousand-plus werewolf scholars and pack leaders from around the world. Three years. In three years, I had successfully isolated the gene responsible for uncontrolled shifting in Omegas and developed a sequence to enhance the power of the wolf spirit.

She jerked her eyes up to the matriarch, her lips parted in shock. "What...?" she breathed, unable to comprehend what she had just heard. Mrs. Harris didn't repeat herself. She simply stared, her gaze filled with determination. "You are connected, whether you like it or not. You are an omega, Ryse, and Nigel is an alpha. His fiancée is a beta, and you know what that means." Ryse felt her stomach clench. Yes, she knew. Betas could certainly mate with alphas, but they didn't have the biological compatibility that omegas shared with them. To ensure strong offspring, it was expected that an alpha would have an omega mate.

Kassandra's POV: First off let me tell you how I got to be an omega in my pack. It was one tragic night when I was 14 and I was at home with my parents, the alpha and luna of the Red river pack in texas. I had just got home from school and went to take a nap when I heard a noise from the living room. I went down to check it out and saw that three rogues had found their way into our house. Next thing I know my father was dead and my mother told me to run and that's what i did.

“Why do you still call yourself an omega? I mean, I know you were one, but I thought you’d have held yourself in high esteem after Sia made you his concubine but you don’t and I want to know why” I laugh subtly. “Becoming his concubine doesn’t elevate my status in anyway. I still see myself as an omega, because my duties and obligations are still that of an omega. When Sia was injured, I treated his wounds. That’s what an omega does Dogara. They humble themselves before all, serving in silence. They let themselves get walked over, kicked, beaten, humiliated, just to achieve a single goal”. “And what’s your goal Crinka?” “That’s the first time you’re calling me

I could feel the hairs on my body rise as these thoughts threatened to consume me and I shook my head gently to clear it. Making my way back to my office once I recovered. Zoe was shuffling from one foot to another on her spot and I could see that the long wait had affected her. The moment she heard the door close, she whipped her head back so fast, I feared it might disconnect from its root. One thing remained though, the same look of confusion that had been swirling in her dark eyes previously were still doing the same. I settled down in my seat and watched her for a moment. There were different kinds of omegas when they were purchased or acquired. The ones that were excited at the prospec

Even though she's never been nice to me, she's a mother and she's worried about her son. "I wanted to ask you," I say softly. "If the Omegas can come to the ceremony too?" "What?!" I stare at Luna's now stern face. She stands up, nostrils flaring. My neck muscles start to itch, my eyes start to burn but I grit my teeth and hold my ground. "An Omega's place is not in parties," her voice is softly poisonous. "They are not fit for this."

I am sure you are thinking, Oh, I am a princess, and I have the best life. How I wish that were true, but sadly, it is not. And that is all because of one thing. I am an omega. And an omega is the worst thing one can be in this kingdom. Omegas are known to be carriers of a plague that, if they are not killed, will inevitably wipe out the rest of the wolf race. Which is why once an omega is discovered, their penalty is death. Only omegas married to powerful Alphas are spared from this fate. It is believed that the mate bond with an Alpha is the only thing that can provide the diseased wolf with stability.
